RIP Peter.

Thank you for the most beautiful car in the world, they are forever your true monument.

Being practical in this sad moment, Peter still owned the old factory premises. Are the new TVR related companies within the old factory safe? I hope whoever has inherited this asset will continue to facilitate their presence.

Love him or hate him, PW really left his mark on the British car industry. He produced some of the most stunning cars ever to be built in Britain. He will be sorely missed. RIP PW

Peter lived life to the full and his time at TVR must to say the least have been very interesting for all that served him.

He was inspired and driven, creating cars that are already legendary. - His creations brought uncontrollable grins out on the faces of thousands...and still does.

His early creations are simply beautiful and posess the best performance / £ then and now

i first met him on the Motor show stand when he 'previewed' the Griff, I fell in love with it then and I still am. - I finally tracked down my dream in candy apple pearl red + magnolia leather with a 4.3 pre-cat - I have kept her since 1995 @ 3k miles and have no intention of letting her go!

Thanks Peter for many years of fun - one of lifes true characters

cant belive he has died with what should of been many years left. I met peter at the nec around 10 years ago and i was proud to be talking to him and he was very plesent indeed to me. Although ive never had to deal with him as a customer so didnt get peed off with not getting anywhere with him. I can only speak from my experience. You brought tvr to the performance level and some mint looking cars. RIP peter, And im sure you will make some people smile if you took the noise of the cerbera with you.

RIP Peter W. Definitely responsible for some of the most identifiable cars in existence and for a while was the king of sports cars IMO.

Thanks for the cars mate and sincere condolences to his family that he leaves behind.

Very sad news. Lucky enough to chat with Peter many times during my years of ownership, great man, even if he did change the colour of my Tuscan carpet!

I met him on the TVR stand at the motor show one year, what an interesting bloke. I'll never forget when BMW bought Rover, and he was quoted as saying "I'm not having anything German in my cars!" Hence the genesis of the Speed Six.

I hate it when people say someone has 'succumbed' to an illness. Like they have much of a choice.
