Bill Drummond and Jimmy Cauty are musical geniuses. I still listen to their stuff every week.

Track down Bill's travelogue 'Bad Wisdom'. Co-written with Mark Manning (Zodiac Mindwarp frontman) it's probably the funniest book you'll ever read.

Presumably its The White Room. Build a Fire is one of my favourite tracks from that. Nice guitars and that great Scottish voice reminding me of home.

I was always rather keen on their collaboration with Extreme Noise Terror on 3AM Eternal, if only for the sheer over the top daftness of it. Don't think the BRITS audience were overly impressed though.

Great tune.

Have to agree with Plotloss about getting 'Chill Out'. Not quite the same as the white room but equally impressive in its own chilled way!

Available from all numpty rock stores for £3 !

That sounds like it, there's even some Acker Bilk towards the end.

My fave album of their is Shag Times when they were the JAMMs (Justified Ancients of Mu Mu).

Oh and the single Y2K - Fk the Millenium was quite good too.

Does anyone remember their Millenium project?
They wanted to be sent a house brick from everyone in the country ('cos there's always a few hanging around) and they were going to build a pyramid out of them!

I still can't believe they burnt a cool £1m and deleted their back catalogue just when Japan was ready getting into their stuff.
