Mine's a bit of a weird one. I was really smitten by the fussiness of the front end of this car - the integrated bumper, recesssed headlamps and that funky leading edge of the hood with wrap-around turn signals and marker lights. I thought it was fantastic and really tried to pursuade my Dad to get one for his next company car - didn't work, he ended up with a 1600 GXL Mk3 Cortina.

On the fouth of August 1986 I was standing outside the Broomwood pub on The Sevenoaks way near Orpington and a guy pulled up in a Lamborghini Countach. I waved at him and he waved back and then nailed it up the Sevenoaks way. I was completely dumbstruck. I went straight out and bought a huge poster of a Countach and put it on my wall. For twenty years there was always a Countach poster somewhere in my house. When at last the dream became reality I took the poster down and put it up in the garage. My guess is that quite a lot of people who lust after the cars that they saw when they were young will end up driving them! Well I hope so!

My earliest memories of a car would be of my Dad's Wolsley 16/60 (like this but his was just Blue)

Ditto - but two tone white and beige, with red leather. Early memory or looking directly at the tail lamps (they were a fair bit taller than I was!).
