I mean for a barge- compared to the RS4 they're dead cheap!! I'm likely to do very few miles in the near future and really fancy one of these!

Which one the old 2.7, V8 or new V6?

Evo mag reckoned the new RS5 wasn't that much faster than the new S4 until silly speeds!

The saviour if radio 1 chris moyles always has the Audi S4.

The other thing is audis have taken over from BMW as cars being owned by cocks sicJ Clarkson. Rate him or not anyone interested in cars knows that be it true or not makes no difference. He killed the vectra and hampered BMW with similar comments.

Well a V8 "premium" branded relatively new (4-5 years old) with decent miles(40-60k miles) from £14k. Bargain. Pre facelift 03-04 ref with decent miles (less than 70k) from £11k.

I had a Blue Avant a few years ago! Absolutely great car! very fast, gripped like a limpet, very comfy seats and a lovely interior! Wish I could have kept it, but it had to go to re-hab fot its petrol addiction!

Why would tax be £435? its pre March 23rd 2006 so should be more like £245 per year shoul'nt it?

Harsh but may be true. Evo didn't rate it as a drivers car (and they do the RS4).

You can buy V8s for cheaper.
