Goes something like,

Ah, thats the problem, if you overuse a phrase it starts to lose its impact.

Save if for special occasions, a couple of times a month.

I always had a penchant for :-

"Assumption is the mother of all -ups"

Unfortunately it's great simplicity and relevance in this day and age is not matched by the film it was ripped from (10 points goes to....?)
