The A9 between Dresden and Berlin is the best stretch of road I have ever had the pleasure of driving on for cruising. 240KPH and no traffic to worry about, apart from those behind that are travelling at silly speeds usually flashing you from atleast 1K away. As for MPG, Saab 95 2.3 Turbo 18MPG or so. Pretty st really but then at 1 AM every Sat morning I didnt mind too much.

18mpg but you would get to your destination much much quicker, how much is your time worth?

I sat at 100 to 110 last week on the way up to a meet and averaged 34 mpg.

I gave up at Page 6, but someone really needs to point out that it's a WOMAN doing 120mph. This seriously affects any safety aspect.

Am I a chav too?

It's just that I've got a few cars as well, so unsure how to assess my social standing?

What's the point though, I've found that the 350 - 450 bhp on my last few cars has been way too much for the roads near me to cope with and had more fun messing about in a 100bhp van while waiting for the latest one to arrive?

Same reason people buy them new BMW bikes and never use all the power.
