Who cares, other than his press agent and Mercedes' PR man?

Will Lewis "bend the knee"?
Guardian has started reporting old news and repeating news.

Their Brexit hysteria must have broken them

Luckily he isn't American then.
He likes to think he is by the way he speaks, pretendyank.
That’s right, that’s why he’s so proud to be British. wink
As proud as your hero jenson!? Loving his life in 'that' tax haven country, well away from anything 'British'.
My hero Jenson? He’s a great guy but what has he to do with anything, why drag him up? But since you have Leroy...
Let’s to a look at this fine patriot. Jenson lived in Monaco for 17yrs. Then your hero, having missed so many things British after 17 long years away from home, moved back to dear old Blighty, right? Well actually no! He now lives in California, well away from anything ‘British’.
Best take the poster of Jenson off your bedroom wall.
Just note Leroy, it’s not unusual for hero’s to turn out to be disappointments.
I understand finding Jenson isn’t the patriotic guy you believed him to be is going to very difficult for you but you can overcome that. At least I hope you do.
Jenson is a great guy, a multi millionaire, and as such he’s giving up as little of his hard earned millions as he has to. Certainly not to the British government.
Anyway Leroy, chin up son wink
And just in case you have trouble believing these revelations...
watch, read and weep.

Here you go

Hamilton has no interest in getting caught up in politics.

Just watched the press conference, he was being pressed to say something controversial and he didn't however, there were moments when he played to a certain fan base...rightly or wrongly..

Looks like he might have read my earlier post that I would sack him for kneeling . He's realised he can't win the world championship when he's not on the grid.

In our Army map reading we had a rule to help us know what to do when swapping between ground and map,( magnetic variation or something like that , " Ground to Grid, get rid " Seems Lewis got the message too.

Yep, I am sure that's why he is not doing the kneel.

It never ceases to amaze me how some people are so full of their own self importance and believe they actually know something about a situation they can’t possibly know anything about... Lewis was threatened with the sack so he’s fallen into line. Yeah that’ll be it. One thing we know about him is he wears his heart on his sleeve and shows his emotions. I think if he’d been gagged, told shut up and drive or you’re out the car... well we’d know. In this day and age a lid can’t be kept on stuff like that.

Another record likely to go today.

I remember well when Schumacher retired and so many of his records were thought untouchable.

I find these stats a bit irrelevant these days, there's 20 races a year now, when I started watching I think there were only 8 or ten so far back,so they are ramping up nearly 21/2 years of old in one season now.

Who said he'd been threatened with the sack, other than from Majordad in his humorous post..............?

Yes, my post was in jest. Mercedes themselves would of course not threaten him, but he'd have a visit from some of the Soppranos ( sadly the best and most threatening are no longer with us ) who'd explain to him their desired outcome. Job done.

I too agree with previous observations regarding comparing points of say Prost with Hamilton or Hill, we need a factor applied to take into account who really has the most points.

Do you know what ? Love or hate him, it doesn't matter. Because what you are seeing now is a really fking good driver, in the best team to enable his ability. Records are being smashed with the times he can pump in with this car.
It's literally like a match made in heaven.
It's crazy. Relish it, take it in.

I can't believe max signed up for 2 more years with red bull. He's got a wdc in him.

Max needs to get into Ferrari. The fastest car on the grid with the talent in Max = WDC.

Not whilst he's at RB. Renault will back McLaren first I bet.

Renault will back Renault first I reckon...

Red Bull and McLaren will both be up there next year.

Hamilton; masterful... we are seeing a genius at work. Toto has said himself; just when you thought that Hamilton was the full
package; he manages to take it up yet another level.

Bottas not really making a mark which is a shame. Mercedes will know that next year; they need 1, 2's - allowing Vettel to split the Merc's week in week out isn't good enough.

Ferrari haven’t proved they go can go fast and be reliable yet. Bottas has done the business in terms of contributing to the constructors, in fact he’s still in with a good shout to come second in the drivers championship.

Hamilton seems to have found a few tenths in quali lately, but otherwise I think Bottas is close enough to bank plenty of points without troubling the balance in the team (or be back and forth taking points from each other, which would open the door for Vettel). That they can be in the situation without having to go down the team orders route (at least not often) must make everyone’s lives easier.

I believe the McLaren will be a force to be reckoned with next year...

Was watching an onboard with Vandoorne in FP2 and the McLaren looked lovely to drive, goof front end and no corrections on exit.
