Bottas not really making a mark which is a shame. Mercedes will know that next year; they need 1, 2's - allowing Vettel to split the Merc's week in week out isn't good enough.
I think it's tough for Bottas, he was closer to LH earlier in the season but he really has turned it up a notch, he is a very special talent. I have to reach for the mute button when he's interviewed though and I can't stand the way he steals the limelight when his fellow drivers are being interviewed, a flawed character but a great driver.Perhaps this hindered Hamiltons ability to totally commit to the car and fully exploit his talent earlier in the season. That little extra one or two percent maximum that sits between Hamilton (and a few others) and Bottas may well show in comparative performances now they can both be comfortable to commit to the maximum in a known, fully dialled in package. That could* explain the speed difference between them, but doesn't necessarily explain Bottas' lacklustre rear gunner performances, which I would find more worrying as a team head.

Not at the time between helmet off and cap going on he is so paranoid about his hair transplant he goes from hiding shy schoolboy to “hey how you all doing” once the cap is on.
Your not really up with the actual business of F1 are you. It’s contractual sponsorship obligation. The podium guys all wear their caps. Nothing to do with hiding his transplant... you see plenty of Lewis at other times without his cap... it’s amazing what people pick up on and create something out of nothing...
Clearly you don’t like the guy and that’s fine but why don’t you just say you don’t like him rather than making yourself look a complete idiot at the same time?

Improper use of seatbelts can lead to injuries yet it isn't penalised based on common sense and discretion because it's fun, cutting a corner while stealing 3rd place from a Ferrari is penalised based on strict rules that must always be enforced (even though many did it throughout the weekend). Hypocrisy at its finest.HighwayStar said:

I am aware he need to wear the cap and yes you do seem him with his coiffured bonce but he seems to have a vanity issue to face the camera with his helmet hair.
Saying that don’t think I would show my pubes in public😉

I think the seatbelt rule is not a written one where cutting a corner to gain a place is pretty much called "cheating" in F1 and every other motorsports. No one else cut a corner to gain a place as far as I remember from yesterday's race. Am I right? Some guys went outside but not cutting one to overtake. Sa Calobra said:
Your watching someone different to me
I don't get that
Your grammar is letting you down and though I admire Hamilton immensely as a driver, I have to say his off track preening and show stealing are all too obvious, take a longer look. I don't get that
All said (and this is in jest), I can't think of many living top, top drivers who I'd really like to have a pint with other than Lauda.

So you dislike every driver apart from niki?... Aren't you better off doing something slightly more constructive with your life? All said (and this is in jest), I can't think of many living top, top drivers who I'd really like to have a pint with other than Lauda.

Although I'd put it down to a professional just carefully removing his ear pieces and balaclava, etc and just taking a few seconds to mentally switch from one job to the next in a more ritualised manner than others. Perhaps even an element of him controlling the situation and deciding when to speak - he often does it on the first question on the truck on the track parade too, where he isn't messing around with anything. Just leaves the poor girl hanging for ages, eventually says something about the crowd and might answer the question afterwards.
Naively didn't realise he'd paid for his odd hair.

Thanks for the life advice, but I think I will pass coming from someone with such limited comprehension and no sense of humour. I made it clear my comment was in jest and it follows on from an earlier point somebody made about how the very top sportspeople in all fields, are usually in some way flawed characters. My comment does not mean that I dislike every driver apart from Niki, happy to clear that up and hope half-term isn't dragging too much.

I'm a huge LH fan - he just seems to have that bit extra behind the wheel! Maybe his lifestyle is a bit different to most other drivers, but so long as he delivers surely that is irrelevant?I'd probably choose to go for a pint with Mark Webber - doesn't he own a pub?

I'd class myself a fairly big F1 fan, but I am not even close to that level of obsession, trying to interpret people's body language. Perhaps you need another hobby?
