Re: the hair, I sympathise with anybody who is reluctantly balding. I really hope I don't go prematurely bald as I can't grow a beard to balance it out. People who are fully bald and have no facial hair end up looking like them naked mole rats (no offence to any naked mole rats entirely bald people with no facial hair who may be reading).
In short if I'd started balding in my late teens and happened to be a multi multi millionaire I'd probably get the transplants too.
You really are just a bit of a tosser, I do hope you don't get cancer. In short if I'd started balding in my late teens and happened to be a multi multi millionaire I'd probably get the transplants too.

Guess I am. An inconsiderate and poorly thought out remark. Sorry all.
chum, everyone on here knows full well you meant no offence, so don't beat yourself up over it. PhillipM said:
Mine didn't. But then I lost my hair first......can I sue for it not coming back?
Ironic really, shaved it all off my head ready, it grew back but lost every inch of hair from my neck down. Had full head of hair throughout chemo and radio but looked like a plucked chicken everywhere else.angrymoby said:

how the fk did you get that, from HurtR's comment?& i say that as someone with a family member who had particular harsh chemotherapy ...& it DOES grow back ffs!
The strange thing is, considering the illness, putting lives on hold for 12 months, the invasive treatment, pain, etc, it is the hair loss that affects him the most.

Very sorry to hear that mattyn1.The strange thing is, considering the illness, putting lives on hold for 12 months, the invasive treatment, pain, etc, it is the hair loss that affects him the most.
I hope his treatment is coming to an end soon with the right results.
It must be extremely hard being able to stay strong and stay sane throughout it all. It sure takes it's toll on everyone.
A friends son was also more worried about his hair than the extensive treatment he was going through. The poor lad had 5 years of treatment for Acute myeloid leukaemia.
He is now in remission but the long term prognosis is unknown.
You would never think it now as he is doing amazing and looks extremely healthy. His hair is back and he is loving life which is a blessing.
Stay strong mate.
