I’ll start with 94.
Yes I was giving you 1994 as that is what you were discussing, which others?- Illegal fuel filter (of which a team mates car went up in flames while refulling).
- Traction control (option 13)
- Driving while under black flag which led to a 2 race ban, which was overturned following death threats to Hill
- Plank gate
- Then after hitting the wall, rejoined the track to hit Hill, gaining his first grubby WDC
BTW the 2 race ban was not overturned following death threats to Hill, not sure what media you follow, but that is nonsense.
Why was the 2 race ban for ignoring black flags overturned then? 24 yrs ago so not fresh in the mind as such for me!

what form will that trophy take, a novelty fuel filter? Option 13 button?
My guess is a turd in a bowl. Schumi always had a number 2, right? But his name wasn't Bottas
Note that none of the above were contracted number 2’s.
That’s the difference.

That portrait of Fangio with tin helmet and goggles is a stark reminder of the incredible danger he faced !

So many of his championships should have a *
- Then after hitting the wall, rejoined the track to hit Hill, gaining his first grubby WDC
It's the sort of thing Max does now

Although MS going slow was highly unusual.
Hill could have used better judgement IMHO

I'm sure Hill has said that from the car it felt like he'd went for a shrinking gap and he blamed himself (hence his initial "we gave him a good run for his money" interview), once he'd seen the footage he changed his mind entirely.Although MS going slow was highly unusual.

True, but hill would not have known MS had hit a wall, no GPS tracking with team support back then. Would have just thought he was slow.
Perhaps GPS tracking and team support should be banned.Let the drivers second guess.
But safety would be compromised.

Fascinating to read the comments about people defending Schumacher or Senna for deliberately cheating or driving in another driver then criticising Hamilton if he says something like he doesn't like vanilla ice cream...

Imagine LH getting banned from the WDC or putting a rival in the gravel on a start! Internet Meltdown!
I very much doubt Hamilton or any driver would have put up with what went on with Jean-Marie Balestre.Senna was wrong to take Prost out as was Prost taking Senna out.
Schumacher had a will to win which he would, unfortunately, take to the extremes on a number of occasions.
But some incidents were not his fault IMO.
Others clearly were.

There’d not be enough global bandwidth to cope!! The internet would freeze and as a result, global banking systems would faulter; medical records lost; military exercises, personnel and equipment would go haywire; it would be the end of civilisation as we know it! And that’s just from the three or four anti-Hamilton posters here on PistonHeads
Had the internet been around in Senna's day, it would certainly have broken. Instead, all we had was the letters page in Autosport which I recall were regularly populated with sternly-worded calls for life-time bans and such like. This was in a time when words like 'outrageous' and 'abominable' were all the rage. Not the 'tt', 'tosser' and 'knob wipes' we have to today.
