Spoiler alert.

Epic fail.

I knew I should have avoided reading this thread too.....frown

Next GP ,I will go without reading the result for 10 days.

That's my challenge for next time.....byebye

Looked up when it is ,I might go on a road trip early in May so that'll make it easier as I go without any news when in the middle

of nowhere Europe.

I did wonder that but he doesn't seem to react well to others opinions that don't ally with his. Seemed like a rather bitter response.

Just goes to show, if you're switched on about it you can avoid the news and social media (contrary to what PH EXR says), but there's generally some who ruins it for you eventually, inadvertently or otherwise.

In this case the is PH XKR, deliberately, ironically in the thread he started to complain about people spoiling the result for him.

Because irony, a thread about spoiling the results by the BBC which received such idiotic replies from members that I would have thought would share a level of compassion. One would naturally, safely assume that by the time it was posted the results would be widely known.

When I mention my friend deliberately telling me the result, that is somehow my fault and yet now I do the same somehow that is my fault. You can't have it both ways.

Great, the quarterly rant at people discussing sporting events after they have happened. People should really know sports events are not up for discussion until 12 years have passed.

A couple of options for the OP

1. Attend anger classes, some unnecessary name calling going on from the OP, will also have the benefit of postponing that impending heart attack
2. Work harder so they can afford sky and watch the race live
3. Work harder so try don't need to have a flat mate

Or 3 which is the more obvious one, don't watch the news and stay away from OBVIOUS sources of news / spoilers for a few hours! Not rocket science
Im his so called 'flat mate'....

He earns enough to go to a GP and offered to go to the Monaco GP at the end of may but he is too tight to go.

On point 3 he only pays for half the rent but not any loo rolls,

And we are in Belgium and dont have 'British Sky' here in the flat.

But I do have Sky Sports on my Ipad and will continue to be a spoiler so he can jog on...

I don't want it ANY way.

Just don't talk about the results EXCEPT in the official thread. In that way, those who don't want to know, know which thread to avoid.

As for blurty flat mates - nothing can be done about that.

Funnily enough I did contemplate posting a false result in my previous thread...:-)

Well....something can.

But you'll likely end up somewhere smaller with a different flat mate....who likes your bottom more
