Sure I have posted this already on one of the many threads, I subscribed to http://www.ustvnow.com/ and running the USTV Now Kodi extension all perfectly legal and above board.
Perfectly legal - IF you are a US citizen All those bemoaning honda, I am fairly sure Illmore in Brixworth (fromerly Mercedes Benz high performance before they set up on their own and of course, just Illmore before that) had some hand in the engine design and they've got a good track record in indy.
Not likely to be due to the incompetence Honda are showing with McLaren.

I don't really get the issues with Chilton. In a crappy car he was incredibly reliable in F1
I was never a fan when he was in F1, but he was definitely a safe pair of hands. I really do think his "safe and steady, being it home in one piece" style would suit WEC. I'd like to see him contest Le Mans. Otispunkmeyer said:

I thought Ilmore were on the Chevy (non self destructing engined) side? Not likely to be due to the incompetence Honda are showing with McLaren.

Originally in the 90's yes, in 2005 they joined with Penske who were already under contract with Honda. I can only find that they developed engines together up to 2011 though. So maybe I am still wrong.Edit: I am, they partner back with Chevy after that.

Watched it lastnight and it was a more interesting race than I expected it to be. Alonso did really well. When the whole crowd stand up and cheer you when you get out of the car, you're doing something right.
Any news on the photographer on the other side of the fence from the Dixon/Howard crash? I saw him being stretchered off, and he was sitting up and tapping away on his phone

Oh great, can we go back to blaming Honda again?Edit: I am, they partner back with Chevy after that.

What are the digital displays on the cars for? I guess to indicate their position when it's getting through backmarkers tomorrow or did it display their car number?
I didn't see any blue flag equivalents? Although it's that easy to pass I guess there's no point.
So these cars don't have any problem following closely like an F1 does, I bet liberty do something about that in future years by restricting the F1 cars downforce or something similar. It makes for much better viewing when they're so close together.
But look at the size of the marshalls and put crew lol. Talk about America obesity! And the fact the front right pit crew guy has to throw his wheel gun like a hand granade when he's got the wheel on lol.
All in all a good watch. I liked it and will certainly watch again.

Bit disappointed to hear Alonso referred to on R4 this morning as "Formula 1's Fernando Alonso" but Sato only as "Japan's Takuma Sato" like he has no racing credentials! Big tsk, Rob Bonnet.
Perfectly reasonable - Alonso is a CURRENT F1 driver. Sato is an Indy series regular.audi321 said:

Not sure what they do on the circuit, but in the pits it runs a stopwatch to show how long the pit stop is taking.Gassing Station | Formula 1 | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
