Perez is quick, but IIRC he had problems in a high pressure environment - more relaxed at FI so performing.
Sainz - I agree, another possibility.
Grosjean has been disappointing recently. He isn't the brilliant driver that we saw 2 years back.

Be great for sainz to get a chance in a top team like max young and hungry with lots to prove need more younger blood.

I know he brings money to Williams, but he must be costing them more in spare parts! Diminishing returns!
Has he been that bad though? thegreenhell said:

Has he been that bad though? That's more than worth it even if he crashes at every race.

Will it reflect badly on SVD if Jenson out qualifies him on saturday or not? JB is within a wisker of beating him in FP2 despite have to ask how to use the car on the radio
JB's having fun this weekend. He teased Ted during the interviews and was doing his debrief in his socks..geeks said:

JB's having fun this weekend. He teased Ted during the interviews and was doing his debrief in his socks..I think this is his 17th effort since 2000 (in 2005, the BAR-Honda squad were banned from Monaco).
It's not experience he lacks. He's had umpteen F1 cars, many of them bad (2008 Honda, looking at you) so he knows how to drive a bad car.
Stoff has no such experience. He's new - first season, this is his 7th ever F1 race weekend. Give him a break.

Did it reflect badly on Jenson when Stoffel out-qualified him and scored McLaren's first point last year in his one off appearance in Alonso's place at Bahrain? The answer for both is no.

How many times has JB driven Monaco in an F1 car?

Basically Jenson wins either way - if he beats SVD then it's experience and if he doesn't then its cos he's rusty. Jenson will leave with his dignity intact either way (so long as he doesn't crash out).
Same goes from SVD's perspective - if Jenson beats him he can just say it's because Jenson is an ex-WDC and has loads of experience round Monaco.
