Does that make you an expert? Ten years marshalling, and four years as that lowest of all motorsport competitors, a karting dad, are my only direct experience. But I suppose there those on here with less, so I thought I could get away with making a humble contribution to this thread.
How about you? Are you one of the 22?

Apart from the 22 guys who actually take part each race,
This says a lot about your expertise.Roofless Toothless said:

No, I am not but you don't hear me saying here what Max Verstappen has to do and what not to do. But I do have experience in competing at the highest national level and I know what it takes to get there. How about you? Are you one of the 22?
Well, thats it lads, best not write anything more about Max unless you are prepared to say it to his face.....

Wonder how he will react if the Honda engine turns out to be a boat anchor and Red Bull are near / at the back of the grid rather than up the front?
He'll be tripping over his bottom lip and threatening to headbutt anyone and everyone he encounters.TBH, I expect that even with a boat anchor the RBR will be somewhere around the head of the midfield pack. The fun question for me is whether they'll be ahead of or behind the improving Renaults. I'm sure that Danny Ric would take extra delight in overtaking him in a yellow car.

His whole rhetoric is teenage, which is regrettable as he's 21 now.
Why? What he says is spot on, shows perfect maturity. No one on here or similar forums is at all qualified to assess or criticise him and he clearly is maturing and improving. What’s wrong with him saying that?

I'd take that with a pinch of salt, it was a practice session and having watched other videos with Max racing with Lando Norris and other iRacing drivers, it's not always taken seriously....even in the races! I'm losing support for Max, at first I quite liked him, but his attitude and general demeanour is that of a spoilt brat and is going to do him no favours in the long run. He has the speed, no doubting that!

Only a practice session, bit naughty but nothing compared to Scott Speed. It's almost a rite of passage in iracing to get lunged by Nicki Thiim or have Frank Biela or Reubens pass you on 3 wheels
