Max showed he can do anything if he keeps his cool. Not his biggest fan but yesterday’s performance was above all
Fantastic performance by both of them. We are looking at a level of performance I think not seen since Schuey vs Mika or Prost vs Senna, so it’s a privilege to be able to watch it.It really does sum things up when the two lead drivers finish just so far ahead of everyone else. Even allowing for Perez being ill, having no water and possibly not having all the latest bits on his car.
Sadly does look like the WDC is likely to be over - the days of Hamilton and Verstappen swapping the lead each race are over now. If I was Toto Wolff I'd be very concerned that the WCC was at risk too!

I wouldn't worry too much, since the start of the season Toto has been alluding that it may come down to the final race. Perhaps Liberty handed him the confidential script ?Sadly does look like the WDC is likely to be over - the days of Hamilton and Verstappen swapping the lead each race are over now. This, in spades. While watching Hamilton dominate one or two seasons was nice from a British supporter's perspective, it wasn't great for the sport.
Seeing two supremely talented drivers in great cars go at it hammer and tongs is a rare spectacle in F1, and should be cherished.

It’s nice when the actually race instead of doing an impression of Ronnie Pickering, with out the camera.

I am not too concerned if Max wins the championship, he is certainly worthy of it, I just want Lewis to wipe the smirk off Horner`s face.
You see the thing is earlier in the season I also thought he deserved to win. Then we had Silverstone and Imola. And then Brazil. To me a person who is willing to drive like that (which to me is cheating a la Schumacher) does not deserve a title.Jasandjules said:

I agree, this is where I stand. Max is very talented and very exciting to watch. With his talent and potential I feel he deserves to win the title. Then as you mentioned, those three races really puts me off him.
Lewis races like a sportsman, Max races like an entitled spoilt brat.
I'd change your second sentence to 'with his talent he feels he deserves to win the title'. Lewis races like a sportsman, Max races like an entitled spoilt brat.
Those three races show that he hasn't really changed his driving from his early days, just mostly others (including Hamilton) have learnt that to finish, first you need to not be on the bit of road Max has set his eye on....
He does race like an entitled spoilt brat because he is - Horner and Marko enable his petulance and aggression rather than try to temper and moderate it.
