The bloke that owns the energy drink decides he's had enough.

F1 decides that 16 cars is not viable. The whole thing finishes in a whimper.

yikes I hope not

Mercedes out front again, Ferrari a little bit closer again but not close enough, Red Bull right in the fight with Ferrari as Renault close the gap - but probably not by enough for FI not to have the edge of the '18 power Renaults.

Verstappen finished strong, possibly due to Hamilton's traditional post title malaise (still yet to win a race in the same season after being crowned champion), but it won't close enough

1). Hamilton
2). verstappen
3). Vettel
4). Bottas
5). Ricciardo
6). Raikonnen
7). Ocon
8). Perez
9). Alonso
10). Sainz

Constructors

1). Mercedes
2). Red Bull
3). Ferrari
4). Force India
5). McLaren (edging out)
6). Renault
7). Williams
8). Sauber
9). Haas
10). Torro Rosso - Honda

I think Mercedes, Ferrari and Red Bull will be very close together, but Mercedes will have their nose juuuuuust enough in front that Ferrari and Red Bull will be the ones taking points off each other more often, allowing Mercedes to edge it. A fifth title for Hamilton, with Ricciardo more consistent than Verstappen, taking the runner up spot.

1. Hamilton
2. Bottas
3. Verstappen (unless the Renault PU is close to Merc)

Bottas just doesn't have the mental game to take on Lewis and win.

A few teams are always for sale, but I think we are pretty steady until the next tech changes, unless we have a global crisis. 10 teams at least means 10 teams getting prize money. Even the tail end is getting new investment.

No chance. Too much potential liability attached. It's not a vanity project.

I predict I'll be able to hide from wife and kids in my games room with it on and gain the only few hours per year when they aren't asking me for:

A. A lift
B. Money
C. To fix something
D. To sort the wifi because they've arsed about with their device such that it no longer works

And as such, F1 is fking superb because there's only one rule that no one dare break in my house. If F1 is on, don't come and talk to me.

I think that the 3-engine rule will decide the outcome of both championsips.

So, WDC - Lewis, Valterie, Vettel.

WCC - Mercedes, Ferrari, Red Bull, but McLaren might run them close, but RB driver pairings should make the difference.

Danny Ric will leave RB to Mercedes at the end of the year.

Wooden Spoon - Torro Rosso.

Now that McLaren/Alonso and Honda have parted ways, Honda build a stonking, reliable motor and TR finish fourth (possibly)

It would need FAR FAR more than just horrendous reliability, crazy amount of bad luck, being in the wrong place at the wrong time, someone with a blatant vendetta against him for Lewis to finishing below Bottas by the end of a full season.
