Decided to do the British F1 GP this year, but which stand is best? Was thinking about The View at the end of the start/finish straight as have been lucky enough to be above the pit lane in the new hospitality area before and liked it, but no budget for that this year. So which one would you choose and why?

Not done F1, but for WEC/Classic I always end up in village, left hand end gets a view of a whole lot more circuit than what's directly in front of you.

Vale is probably the best value for money imo.

Sat in Luffield for the BSB back in September, pretty good view from there as you can see the cars/bikes running down Wellington Straight, around the Luffield hairpin and on up to the National pit straight. Guaranteed giant TV screen from here as well so the action can be followed for the whole race.

Cue much debate.

Vale is very good.

If you like high speed overtakes then Stowe is a great stand too.

For Grandstands these two areas are best, general admission then the Luffield complex is good.

Grandstands is a great investment for entertainment/enjoyment however.

This Q comes up every year and you'll get many different answers.

For me it's Club, or actually Club 1. You see them coming out of Stowe, down Vale into Club, up the straight into Abbey. You get to see all the pre race action, working on the grid etc, podium. As you're sat opposite the podium you also have a giant TV nearby.

Parking is another problem, £65 to park at the circuit is on a par with previous years. This year the greed fking s that run Silverstone want £40 for Park & Ride. laugh

Only problem is I wouldn't give the greedy fking s that run Silverstone a penny of my money.

If you do go use these guys for parking. The money is put to better use, you won't spend 2 hours getting out of the car park neither!
