Does anyone know if accessing the Liberty Media live stream via VPN is a possibility?

So was there and is there still the same kind of anger and vitriol towards Dorna and BT for taking MotoGP onto BT Sport? Or is it less so because the MotoGP was on Eurosport anyway and thus not on FTA anyway? WSBK hasn't been on FTA for years also.
Motogp was on FTA and still is. All you have to do is wait until Monday night to watch the highlights. It's really well done, no build up etc, turn on and it's straight into the race.
I've been an F1 fan for years but I wouldn't get Sky just to watch it. Fingers crossed there will be a highlights show the day after like Motogp.

The problem is that they don't show the Moto2+ 3 highlights though.

If this was the 1990s I wouldn't even give it a second thought and would definitely subscribe to Sky.

Unfortunately modern F1 is now a world away from the sport I fell in love with and I will no longer be watching once it vanishes behind a pay wall.

Lifting and coasting, fuel saving, tyre conservation, dreadful lawnmower engines, ugly cars, halo, soulless circuits with 10miles of runoff, endless grid penalties, endless investigations, banning grid girls, no competition, ingenuity discouraged, 3 engines a season, needlessly complicated wings, cant drive in the wet anymore, boring drivers, WWE intros, binning iconic logo, sponsorship banned etc etc...

Its just become all too silly, for me its not what the 'pinnacle of motorsport' should be about. Thank god for MotoGP!
Agreed, F1 seems to be in a downhill motion, never thought it would end like this. Indeed
Moto GP holds spectators in excitement and deep respect for the riders. Same goes for the
European and British motorcycle racing, sod it all bike racing!!!!

It’s not the viewing platforms that are the heart of my moaning, it’s the very sad decay in the sport of F1 as a exciting spectator sport, imo. And I was an absolute spectating fan for decades, it’s just lost it for me.

So Liberty have set the price of the F1 streaming service at the equivalent of £6/month. That makes Sky F1 even if purchased via NowTV seem damned expensive.

There are multiple services (VPN services). The challenge will be if Liberty accept a UK billing address for the subscription...

You think it's irrelevant because it doesn't suit your position. To piss and moan that Sky have nicked all the cookies you have to accept that someone let them into the kitchen in the first place.

Funny how Bernie has turned into a beacon of truth all of a sudden...
It's irrelevant because you keep harking back to a previous deal that has no bearing on the present situation. The 2019 deal was a completely new one that reset the position and Bernie was doing exactly what he as asked to against his already stated better judgement. CVC wanted top dollar for their sale to the next buyer of F1 and having 'money in the bank' in the form of already established contracts for race fees and TV deals was what Bernie had been tasked to do.

I'm actually pleased that Liberty have set the bar for their offering at the equivalent of £6/month as that shows an understanding of the true value of the content.

Bottom line is Sky paid too much for the rights and are overcharging accordingly. They and the sport will suffer for it in the meantime.

There’s another Pringles/Now TV promotion on at the moment, 2 tubes gives you a Sky Sports day pass. £1 a tube at Tesco.

Not sure I would rely on anything that this source states. Certainly seems to have it in for Liberty
The source is Christian Sylt who is a close confidante of Bernie Ecclestone. He is a bit of a toady but he knows more about these things than most of us.
I would have described Sylt as more like Ecclestone's PR man. Whilst I would agree that he knows more about these things than most of us, one has to remember that he has reasons other than the enlightenment and edification of his readers for his articles.

I remember him on Pitpass, before he formed up with Ecclestone. Before he turned one might say. He was an unending source of fascinating little titbits.

Before he became more predictable one might say.

Phoned Sky to do some talking. Half of it didn't make sense, and anything you do cancel just puts the price of everything else up so the savings are minimal.

I've been with them a year, and im not under contract, so I'll be binning everything but broadband. Think I'll either go Now TV or watch it elsewhere.

In addition to Pringles offers, Now TV do other promotions - I’ve just sign up for 3 months of Sky Sports for £20 a month, and I suspect I’ll be offered something similar when I go to cancel it at the end of the term.

Cheerleaders next.........ah no, that would be demeaning.

But it does look like they're trying to go more mainstream, or should that be downstream?

Different camera angles and better sound might be good though.
