The documentary was sufficiently respectful of Ron.
He certainly wasn't human
I think the many McLaren employees he helped with medical bills/family issues over many years (without any fanfare) would disagree strongly with this comment. He certainly wasn't human
You clearly don't like him, so why not explain why?
I have a high regard for Ron, and always have thought of him a man of great integrity. There are many within the industry that also hold him in high regard. They tend not to shout about it, like the man himself.
Love him or loathe him, at his core, he is a racer.

It was probably a bit of a tongue in cheek comment, I’ve never met him obviously but we all know his reputation.
Don't believe everything the media tells you. I've met him a few times and he isn't a barrel of laughs but having known several long term (15-20 year) McLaren employees there was (and still is) a huge amount of loyalty to Ron which all comes from the personal interest and regard Ron took in his employees.
Will a faceless multinational consortium have those same personal relationships and interest in caring for extended family members.... ? I think we all know the answer to that one.

"Quick! We need the autoclave for a vital new wing end plate"
"Sorry mate, the meeting room chair spacer still has 4 hours to go"
(this scenario may not have been shown in the documentary )
That clip did make me smile, quite a neat visual description of the Mclaren culture I think (from what I have read about it)."Sorry mate, the meeting room chair spacer still has 4 hours to go"

And that is post Dennis!!! As anal as it is, I think it's good to see the company ethos is being maintained.
Not really post-Dennis though as the bit with the carbon fibre boardroom chair spacer was ahead of the meeting where Dennis's position at McLaren was brought to an end. However, it may have been artistic licence and those scenes were actually filmed at a later date.Similar to Stoffel's surprise that Ferrari had launched their car and Matt Bishop's claim that Ferrari had, at the last minute, switched to the same day as McLaren. In reality Ferrari announced that their car would be unveiled on that date more than 2 months previously and almost 1 month before McLaren announced the same date.
