Baku would be a huge lose to F1.

Hopefully things get sorted out.

Don't recall that one but IndyCar/Cart had some exciting races and overtakes back in the day. The most famous one in my opinion is Zanardi's last lap overtake on Herta at Laguna Seca in the Corkscrew which won him the race, I remember watching that one late in the evening live on Eurosport. I loved Zanardi for his balls deep approach that won him races and championships in Cart. Not so much in F1.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cBthxGThBkc (overtake starts around 4:30 but the whole bit is great to watch)
You would get passes like that all the time in F1 if you were allowed to completely leave the track to make it stick.

At the time the move was legal because he cut the corner after the one where he made the pass. They changed the rules for the next season.

Is it good Monaco have put two fingers up and taken the grid girls out of retirement?

Surprised it has not been blown out of all proportions yet.

Very unsporting, he should have given the place back.
It was fine. Those were different (shall I say better) times, people weren't as easily upset as they are now.

The BBC wrote about a boxers opinion on grid girls with the headline "F1 should not objectify women" and had it as the top F1 story for almost a day.

Did they mention what the drivers think about it? Namely what Louis and Vettel said during the pre Monaco press conference?

That would be PC enough.

Think the press are busy looking at Morgan Freeman.

Which is also interesting since the whole thing started as a non event by a professional outrage monger.

Identical to his crash there in 2016.
