I might just be a bit behind the times, but what are all the little canisters for? The ones you see around parks etc.

I'd assume they are CO2 but not sure what use that'd be for the types that are using them...

really pisses me off the way people that use these stuff think it's OK to just leave the canisters everywhere. It's a 45 second high; you're not getting so blitzed you forget to clean up after yourself. The worst is at festivals and stuff, they get trodden into the mud and are very hard to clean up afterwards. It's also a shame that they're hard to recycle, otherwise people would have an incentive to save the spent ones and get money back for handing them in.

I was walking the dog and I saw some kids using the stuff across the park. They inflate balloons and breath it back like you would a helium balloon to sound like Alvin.

But as I was watching them he was sitting on a fence finished the balloon and fell backwards without even trying to break his fall. Big thud he lay there for a min or so with his mates laughing around him.

I didn’t need the Nitrous to have a laugh!!

They cost about £1 each, they are for whipped cream and used in baking which must have become so popular that kids are making sherry trifles in the parks.

I blame Mary Berry.

Roads my way are literally littered with these. They sit in their cars getting high, chuck the canisters on the road & on people's property then drive off.

Coincidence saw one of these on the pavement earlier and wondered what it was. Now I know. God we’re a strange species...

A common sight these days unfortunately, usual dumped by the box load on the side of the road or in the middle of the park.

I imagine future archaeologists will have fun digging them up and guessing what they might have been used for.

I thought it was the gas you put in CO2 air pistols, I’m out of touch it seems.

As a lad I remember seeing small tubs of Evo Stik contact adhesive in bags. Times have moved on then.

No need for them to guess, with the www, it’s here forever more. That’s why time capsules are certainly a thing of the past, anything you want to find out about is a search away.
