Lewis is mentally broken
What sort of utter ste posting is this. I'm no huge fan of Lewis (nor any other individual), but how sad would your life need to be to spend your time spewing crap like this to complete strangers?Though in this case it was a bit odd. I haven't seen a driver do this for years. I'm not saying he is broken, but it was strange?

Lewis just being interviewed (by the sky italia journalist).
Quite positive actually just wanted to keep pushing!
But how can that be? If you were to listen to any of the soap-operaesque 'journalism' or the plebs here, you'd think he was never able to race again.Quite positive actually just wanted to keep pushing!
It's a mistake - he's made plenty in his career, and will make plenty more.

Reddit is quite good. Some noise but some very knowledgable posters as well, plus it's easier to follow sub threads of discussion. (or ignore)I think I need to find somewhere else to read/talk about F1.

Of course, the other poster is correct, the "mentally broken" is a comment that has been made over the years toward both Lewis and Nico in fact, when they seemed to be losing it a little. Often tongue in cheek, but sometimes not.
I don't know what F1 you've been watching, but it seemed entirely appropriate to use is today! Sell inflicted car damage, desperation of running up the live track pushing his car, on his knees head bowed. He blew it, and he knew it.
And last week, Lewis "flounce" after the race and snub of Brundle, his ridiculous accusations toward Kimi and Ferrari, his getting wound up about the Ferrari victory radio message after last week..... (All after he was gifted a chance at 2nd by safety cars caused by Ferrari powered cars, of course!)
He needs to pull himself together, and soon, otherwise this Championship is Vettel's to lose.
Previously, it was Vettel who let things get to him, with his hot headed actions, bashing wheels after the "brake check" etc. This year, he's head an shoulders above Lewis mentally, IMHO.
Even the commentators are picking up on it. Listen to (i think) Ted's question to Toto today about how moody Lewis seems, and Toto's "oh no, he is was in a good mood today". I'd hate to see what a misery he can be then!

He lost the plot!!
Cant take it away from Vettel though, that was a proper flyer and surely would have been tough for LH to beat.

I reckon Wolff's mentally broken.
I'm a big fan of LH. I really enjoy watching him race and at 14th with DR with him, I reckon this could be a good one, promising to be exciting. You'd expect both to get in the top 6 in normal circs but the Ferrari-engined cars are a bit fast here.
Looking forward to this.
I feel sorry for LH. Given what Wolff has said, LH taking the normal line over the kerbs would appear to be the problem. Still, that's sport.

Sergio Marchionne out of Ferrari, effective immediately due to health reasons. Just announced.

Sounds like either a boardroom battle with health being the polite exit, or that he is genuinely more seriously ill.

He had surgery on his shoulder but had some complications which have caused his health to deteriorate significantly over the last hours.http://www.espn.com/f1/story/_/id/24158855/sergio-...

All the announcements make it sound like death is imminent.
