Gutted that I cannot attend this year frown but hopefully those attending might be able to post up some of the no doubt amazing pics or videos.

Hi there,

I was there yesterday and today. Are you after pics of anything in particular. Most of mine are supercars, classic cars and touring/endurance racers as I don’t really follow single seaters.

Happy to share if you are interested ?

Regards

Tim

I was there today and, although I enjoyed it I didn’t see much really special. It seemed fairly modern tbh.
Someone will point out that I missed them but for instance, I thought there was a lot of Ferraris but only 3 f40’s and no Enzo or f50, let alone a 288gto, which I’ve seen there before.
I didn’t see a xj220 or much group B stuff either. Not much Maserati stuff from the 60s or 70s.
The Lamborghini, Lotus and Aston Martin area had plenty to drool at though.
I did see Mike “hold out yer hand” Brewer though smile

I went today.

Wow it was quiet compared to previous years.

Overall, (and i think i said this last year) it's a disappointment. Big gaps between some of the race schedules annoying.
Biggest highlight - listening to some cracking cars/engines go by.

Definitely won't be going again. It's not worth £70 plus extras for the day - nowhere near that.
Goodwood beats Silverstone events hands down.
FOS and Members meeting two of the best weekends of the year, let alone Motorsport events.

Silverstone - expensive, badly organised, and as it seems today - poorly attended.
If they didnt have car club members there - it would have been almost empty.

Group B stuff was busy elsewhere ,in Germany .

I will start a pic thread later.

although TBH I was a little disappointed in the number of B cars present ,when I went 2 years ago they got about 40

of the things together.

Looking at the schedule it appears that the long race at the end of Sat night 2-3 hours normally was only 30-45mins this year? wTF.

Group V cars usually racing for hours into dust v 30-45mins of well sprint race no thanks

I checked the link and saw the majority, although I did miss a bit tbh, so thanks for sharing
It was a bit meh tbh as others have since posted. I’ll give it a miss for a couple of years.

I have never seen as many 911's!

Highlight of the day was the 400 Lambourghini for me tbh.

Apparently it was the same at Le Mans, massive club.
