Bit like all the Stupid.... 'The Battle is On' and the even more stupid audio wave form graphics projected onto boards/catch fencing.... and the Tweets in the cool down room. I don't give a stuff what xxxx emjoi thinks of the result.... YUK!

Liberty are destroying the viewing experience. There's nothing subtle about it at all.

So next were going to have Ray Winstone popping up in the pitlane giving odds on whether the rear left gun man fks up the pit stop or not?????

Sorry for my piss poor attempt at trying to sound like him. His ads rank amongst the most annoying ones on telly IMHO.

Hopefully we won't get this on C4 coverage next year, since betting on something that's already happened isn't really going to work.

With a bit of luck the betting company will offer a live stream if you place a modest bet.

Putting aside the potential vulgarity of the graphics, this seemingly inconsequential bit of news could signal quite a major shift in things.

F1 has seen it's coverage in mainstream media drop down the rankings over the years. One of the reasons for this is that the betting industry encourages media to weight coverage to those sports upon which they the receive the most bets. Whilst its unlikely that F1 will usurp Football and Horse Racing, if betting increases on F1 then we can expect it to increase its presence in the back pages and on some TV news channels - which in turn starts to bring it back to be of more interest to consumer-brand sponsors.

ROOOOOOOIGHT, IT'S TOOOOOIME TO BET AGAIN - WILL PEREZ CRASH INTO ANYONE, TEXT YOUR BETS TO 12345 LADS AND LASSES NOOOOOAW!

What's next after that I wonder. Since LM will have to recoup the 8bn investment at all cost they will have to we the sport out to the maximum. So I guess the next thing it will need is an official t-rap (not shemale related) F1 anthem "written" and "composed" by the brightest musical prodigy on the market right now, Lil Pump (author of such revolutionary songs like Gucci Gang, which goes like this (warning, looking up the video on youtube will result in brain cell loss similar to when one sniffs acetone)):

"Gucci Gang, ooh, yeah, Lil Pump, yeah, Gucci Gang, ooh
Gucci gang, Gucci gang, Gucci gang, Gucci gang
Gucci gang, Gucci gang, Gucci gang (Gucci gang!)
Spend ten racks on a new chain
My bh love do cocaine, ooh
I fk a bh, I forgot her name
I can't buy a bh no wedding ring
Rather go and buy Balmains
Gucci gang, Gucci gang, Gucci gang (Gucci gang!)
Gucci gang, Gucci gang, Gucci gang, Gucci gang
Gucci gang, Gucci gang, Gucci gang (Gucci gang!)
Spend ten racks on a new chain
My bh love do cocaine, ooh
I fk a bh, I forgot her name, yeah
I can't buy no bh no wedding ring
Rather go and buy Balmains, aye
Gucci gang, Gucci gang, Gucci gang
My lean cost more than your rent, ooh
Your mama still live in a tent, yeah
Still slanging… "

I personally find the whole betting advertisements abhorrent. Still since the fag money got legislated out, the bankers lost their shirts and the limitations on booze where can they turn next?

What is there really to bet on? Odds on fastest lap will be pretty poor as will odds on the next crash Perez or Perez.

Final classification, order on lap X, number of pit stops (total, per team, driver), number of tyres used - and so on.

Will Perez take his team mate out: 1:5

I agree with this. Gambling seems to be the only vice that is still allowed to be openly promoted. I'm sure there must be some countries/jurisdictions where this isn't allowed, so presumably these places won't see the advertising graphics.

It's not a great message that one of Liberty Media's main aims was to get more kids interested in F1, then decide to up the amount of betting and publicity it gets..

I am still baffled how Football clubs are sponsored by betting companies so kids walk round with '888 bet' on their tshirts and the like..

10 years time and betting will be a massive problem with the teenage generations who have grown up with this betting advertising.. rediculous. All sport is these days is rich investment companies looking for a cash cow and will milk it any way they want.

In the same way that kids in the past grew up making and playing with models of racing cars emblazoned with JPS, Marlboro, etc, they didn't grew up to be smokers, so these kids won't grow to a life of dependancy on pay-day lenders to fund their gambling habits.

Ooh...hang on a minute......!

Gambling is the new fags; the lure of the tax pound all too alluring to government to act upon the obvious harm it does to people, hidden behind a veneer of 'warnings' to appease the worried.

Does F1 know exactly what F1 wants?

Let's save the World with hybrid engines, ban grid girls and cigarettes.

But on the other hand, gambling and alcohol is fair game.

Great way to educate the grid kids.

Kids football tops aren't allowed to have the gambling sponsor on them...

Gambling is allowed because two sports depend on it entirely and they are stables of the very rich and the very rich in dodgy ways, dogs and horses.

That is why it will likely never be outlawed, in fact the rules were changed to allow them to advertise ever more a few years ago. hence the brainwashing crap you put up with during any sporting event nowadays.

For those that know anyone destroyed by gambling as I do the relentless and sneering advertising is disgusting, hideous and really rather offensive.

but hey, it's only a laugh for most of you isn't it.

Would never offer a pound to these utter thiefs, they prey on the weak and are utterly ruthless in the ways they do.
