That's not red, it's fking Marlboro orange. It's like 1997 all over again.
Useless fact of the day..... The colours of the cars are selected on the basis of what the colour would look like on the TV. In the flesh, Marlboro McLarens used to appear dayglo orange but on TV, the colour resembled something more akin to the colour on the fag packets. The approach is slightly different today due to the advent of HD, 4k, 5k, etc.

From front on the wing is low in front of the tyres and higher in the middle, tilted towards the outside of the car. Similar to the Alfa wing being cut out in front of the tyres (if the wing on their test car yesterday was a real part)
Ah OK, I thought it was flatter like the Merc one but with Mercedes' weird in-wash end-plate. So the Ferrari design is very similar to the Renault one. housen said:
That's the face of someone who knows he finally has a hungry and possibly very good driver as a team mate now. Will be interesting to see how LeClerc gets on. Will he cope with the big team pressure?

LeClerc seems really well grounded and pretty humble with a level head on his shoulders, I think he'll get on just fine. He's got into Ferrari at a pretty young age and he'll know this and not want to taint his name within a big team so early in his career. Will be interesting to see how LeClerc gets on. Williams Deputy Team Principal Claire Williams is working towards 'getting on the podium'.
I'd suggest her best strategy would be to wait around near the podium until after the champagne has been sprayed and sneaking onto it covertly as her driver Felipe Massa did at Interlagos a couple of years ago.

renders of the williams released..im worried
their front wings is a no mans land, its a 2018 wing in concept with the appendages removed, there is no sign of the changes others teams are trying with outwash/inwash
the side pods head on are huge, much wider than everyone else and with a taller opening. Surely this is going to give them major drag, they seems to cover 3/4 of the rear tyres when every other team's rendering only blocks half.
the rear ring does not have the strakes over the rear wheels that everyone else has

They would be hard pushed to cock up more than they did last year. I think it's likely that their delta to the front runners will be lower than last season, the problem is everybody else in that gulf will be improving too. their front wings is a no mans land, its a 2018 wing in concept with the appendages removed, there is no sign of the changes others teams are trying with outwash/inwash

With the Sauber Romeo hookup and Stroll money Force India Mercedes Williams is now the closest thing the sport has to a 'Minnow' hence last place will be it's new default position?
Anyone disagree?
