At least he and we know where he stands. Simply put, Charles needs to do what hamilton did against Alonso and put himself in a position where they can’t impliment team orders. Out shine Vettel and Charles all but ends Sebs career

As it should be really. So many times teams have lost the WDC because they've let two drivers take the points off each other and another team with a dominant driver comes along and takes the title when they shouldn't have. If I ran a team I would always have one driver prioritised over the other right from the start of the season and make it very plain to both where they stood.

When? Usually Ferrari are the first to prioritise drivers. I still think they’re hung over from the embarrassment of team orders from the barichello/ Schumacher years hense the fuzzy messages to Kimi last year instead of decisive messages from Mercedes

Let’s not forget the last time Ferrari won the championship, Kimi only won it because of team orders in China. Since then they’ve not really been in a position to win the championship...1 year with Alonso they came close but I’m not sure team orders would have changed that

I think the Ferrari looks awesome. Love the look of it. Mercedes looks pretty good; they all look ok.

This season is going to be a cracker. Ferrari dishing out team orders before they’ve even lined up on the first grid shows their intent. I hope Mercedes are equally as ruthless; they might have to be.

To many black or very dark cars on the grid this year it seems. I do hope the Alfa is more interesting!

How anyone plans to tell the Renault and Haas apart is a mystery...

When? Really? F1 has been going on longer than 10 years you know.

Yes I realise that. The way I read your message made is seem like you were talking about recent history. You can look way back and see that Ferrari install team orders more than most so you could argue they would have less championships to their name if other teams had done the same.

I've not followed the regs for next year, is there a new rule about the number of elements on the front wing? If not I assume these are all just show wings.

Vettel’s contract will stipulate very clearly that he is the team’s number one driver and will be given priority on strategy, new parts etc etc. In order to have any chance of beating Seb on Sundays, Leclerc will have to out-qualify him consistently. That won’t be easy, as Seb’s single-lap pace has always been outstanding. His weaknesses last year were on Sundays.

To be fair Charles can make an utter pain in the arse of himself on sundays too. If he’s not allowed to be infront, Make sure he’s up Sebs chuff, on the radio saying he’s been held up

Oh jeez, why the hell is Vikki Butler Henderson unveiling the Ferrari.

Could this Ferrari launch be any less inspiring? It has less pizazz than the Mclaren launch

Agreed. Everyone is nervous AF. Feels really forced. There seem to be no likable/interesting characters in the squad anymore now that Kimi has departed. I started supporting Ferrari when Schumacher joined them, but I think I'll support Renault with Ricciardo and Alfa Romeo with Kimi this year. I hope someone can break the Mercedes stranglehold on the championships.
Likable and interesting?... bloke would barely engage, hardly seemed interested in being there and didn’t produce strong enough results. Glad he has gone from Ferrari, should have happened a long time ago.

The Ferrari looking good. Fingers crossed for a strong year. Glad I didn’t watch the presentation if VBH was leading it. What an odd choice!!? Either vettel steps up throughout the year or leclerc can out perform him would be good.
Not sure if you've noticed but he's the most popular driver on the grid.

That’s a matter of opinion. I’d say he’s one of the most popular along with the likes of Ricciardo

So Williams off to a good start... Late with the cars, scrapped the shakedown and now will miss some testing in Barcelona.

I desperately want Williams to come good again. This doesn't bode well.

Not sure that's a good example for no team orders...

I'm not convinced that there will be any intra-team rivalry at Ferrari.

Vettel is the clear number one, and everybody knows it. Leclerc has got himself into a top drive after only one year's experience in Formula 1, during which he showed that he could outperform the Sauber and his journeyman team mate. The move to Ferrari is the opportunity of a lifetime for him, and Vettel may not be entirely convinced that he wants to stay long-term, especially if there's the likelihood that Lewis Hamilton will fail to resist the urge to commit himself full time to the world of fashion designery and rappage, thereby leaving a vacancy at Mercedes.

Leclerc can sit tight, and be Vettel's wingman for a couple of seasons if necessary. Opportunities will arise for him to win races, it's the nature of sport. What he won't be doing, if he's as clever as he appears, is rocking any boats.

Would love to see them do well but reality check says there is zero chance now and this news just backs it up - huge loss of staff, no money, leadership team has not worked for many years now. Last years poor performance was no fluke for Williams.

I don't just see Williams being last this year, I see a gap between them and the rest.
