I'm sure the outcome of this season won't be remotely predictable compared to last season.
At what point in the season last year was a Lewis world title win predictable?

Sky F1 looks like a better deal now that they're showing all the IndyCar qualifying and races.

I know those who like to watch endless re-runs of the 1997 Hungarian Grand Prix will be disappointed but the series is worth a look. It's not just driving in circles.

1st race is in St Petersburg, Florida this weekend. The main straight is an airport runway with a tight right hander at the end. Chaos usually ensues.

I am excited, as always, by the start of the season, but haven't yet decided how I will watch races. I have Virgin TV, so to get Sky's coverage would mean getting a whole lot of football and golf coverage I am not interested in.

What is sad is that as things currently stand, this year will be the last British Grand Prix for the foreseeable future.

I'm pretty buzzed for it TBH as I think we're about to see the closest fought season we've had for a few years. If I already had Sky I'd definitely be going for the £10 deal as I'd probably get quite into Indy Car too but I'm not interested in the rest of the crap I have to pay for before I can pay for F1 so it's dodgy streams, RTL and highlights for me this year!

As excited as ever for the start of the season.

Think I'll be taking on the Sky Sports F1 channel for a tenner a month. Lately I've made do with C4 and the occasional NowTV pass here and there but the Sky price reduction has probably swung it for me.

I am none the wiser about the competitive order after testing but everyone looks closer.

Good sense in regulation changes coming from up top, normalised driver + seat weights, tyres more sensible, higher fuel allowance, crackdown on party mode oil burn etc etc

Several drivers including Ricciardo who was sceptical before have said that the new aero regulations have made a marked difference to following in traffic. It probably won't stop the Australian race being a bit processional but could make a big difference to the action over the season on average.

Leclerc in a Ferrari, Ricciardo in a Renault, Raikkonen in an Alfa Romeo, Norris, Russell and Kubica in F1 cars... what's not to like?

100% agree.

I have to admit, i've watched F1 my whole life and can count the races i've not watched live on one hand - Sad I know.

I've never been this excited for a season to start - I hope it's not a let down.

- Ferrari look strong, as do Mercedes
- Charles Lec could 'do a Hamilton' and upstage his team mate from race 1
- Super close midpack, how will Redbull fare?

Roll on 6am, Saturday March 16!
