Do people really see KC as a commentator? I thought pitlane/tech/strategy bod would be his remit and PdR would get the MB stand in role.
Agreed. I actually think PdR does a good job in commentary.
Are you for real?

PDR is a snooze fest.

Ah well, probably because I am one also!

I just think he gives a good insight in contrast to Crofty’s shouty style and incessant updates on everything that has happened in the last 20 minutes.

I cannot even begin to imagine what PdR would be like as lead commentator.

I agree with that, not lead, I just think he does give a good balance. He could sound a bit more excited when something happens...granted!

I'm with you there, if you listen to what PDR actually says and ignor his monotone voice he's actually quite inciteful and on the ball but then i also enjoy crofty and TBH PDR is the perfect foil to his style (like it or hate it) .

But that's the problem, Di Resta's monotone. I just mentally switch off.

Ant Davidson would be my choice over PDR , Croft just does my head in .

AD still races though doesn't he?

Presumably that's the eternal problem, too young and they're still racing, too old and they don't fancy missing family life by being away all that time.

Ant drives in WEC and PDR in DTM , at least he did last year , the problem is racing drivers are inherently dull , very few have any charisma whatsoever .

Di Resta will be driving a new Aston Martin entry in DTM this year, as Mercedes have departed due to Formula E commitments.

Get rid of David Croft, publish more pictures of Rachel Brookes in a bikini, lose Johnny Herbert, Karun Chandhok Nico Rosberg and Paul Di Resta then you might be getting somewhere. Give Ted Kravitz more time to focus on ALL the teams not just Ferrari and Mercedes more Rachel Brookes bikini pictures and just maybe I'll keep watching

At the risk of going serious off topic... I've never seen Rachel Brookes in a bikini - she doesn't seem the type to flaunt herself on social media.. Plenty of pictures of Natalie Pinkham (awesome lady!)

Did you see the feature with Natalie helping to pack up Caterham after a race? When asked why she was on her knees, she replied she thought it was the best way to do it, with a cheeky grin.

where did you see this?

I'd have thought sky would cobble a round up show with him presenting, given he's about the one chance they got to make testing interesting.

I saw him in the pit lane both on Thursday and Friday.
When asked "are you back" I cannot comment was the reply.!

Looking at him there is no mic, no note book, so make of it what you want?

I suppose his blog / website / newspaper columns are still enough for him to keep his media accreditation, then.
