“It did have a slightly bitter aftertaste for some of the guests, and there was a strong smell I couldn't identify from it, perhaps waffle mixed with manure”
AHH... So in addition to copying the stag logo, they also copied red bulls recipe..“It did have a slightly bitter aftertaste for some of the guests, and there was a strong smell I couldn't identify from it, perhaps waffle mixed with manure”

Both just been black flagged...
what for? Although a black and orange flag might have been more appropriate?

Are pit boards no longer used/permitted in F1?
They are, but drivers rely more on the radio now - I think it was mentioned in the Alesi podcast that it used to be for urgent / important transmissions only. These days they have something more akin to a phone call, so pit boards become a last resort (and then you hope the driver pays attention).NFC 85 Vette said:

Indeed, if a driver can't communicate with the team, then he might have the presence of mind to think "I'd better look out for the pit board" rather than the team needing to get the FIA to hang out a black flag. Just seems odd.
But then again, Haas are rather odd!

Meanwhile, you have the bloke who owns one of the largest fashion brands in the world, owning a team and funding his son's career.....and you'd struggle to see the Tommy Fillfiger brand anywhere!
I believe he and Silas Chou are long gone formally from Tommy Hilfiger Corp. They masterminded the IPO best part of 12, 15 years ago - and the Michael Kors stuff too - but believe THC is a subsidiary of Phillips-Van Heusen now.Agree with your sentiment though: believe old man Stroll retains enough goodwill and relations with the brand that a deal could be done if everyone was on the same page. Old Tommy H himself owns one of Lawrence’s old yachts unless I’m wrong!
