Won't be bothering with this. The franchise was well and truly fked over by SJW's with the last storyline film.

They are just rolling a turd in glitter now.

The emperor? Really? After being dead for 30 years...or not. No mention. No influence in the current story. Have they really run that low on ideas they are literally rolling out all the original cast that is still with us (and some that aren't). Wouldn't surprise me if we see Solo back too at this point...or even Jabba?

Rise of Skywalker... does this mean Rey is the offspring of Luke and Leia? That kiss on Hoth went a bit further than we thought?

Looks a bit meh, but only a small teaser. Pleased JJ is behind this, and hopefully it'll sign off well. Ep 7 was enjoyable, but doesn't stand up to repeat viewings well IMO. Ep 8 was absolute trash IMO.

Palpatine? Really though?

I don’t want to get excited for it to turn out to be dreadful. Some good moments in the trailer, title seems a bit crap though.

To be fair, the prequels managed to fk it over with no SJW help. At least 7-8 are better than 1-3

Could have been yet another Death Star...

What happens to Star Wars after this film? As i understand it, Disney bought the rights to make three spin-offs and three films in the main story arc, of which this is the third. So after this, is that the end of Star Wars as far as we know?

Bob Iger has said SW is taking a 'break' from films for now. biggrin It'll be moving to Disney plus with a few telly programmes.

Quite a bit of interest in something that people clearly strongly dislike here. I thought most of PH was washing its hands of Star Wars after TLJ?
