Looks like all the complexity the adjusted regulations removed from the front wing have just been added back into the bargeboard area. Crazy level of detail. As above, both fascinating and frustrating.

Incredible isn’t it.

Though I still wish we had this kind of simple. Maybe updated with the better side head protection and halo (if we must).

It would also be neat if it folded in going down the straights - pops back out as you hit the brakes.

The new setup on Grosjean's Haas looks to be even more complicated than that, Magnussen running normal.

Chandhok had a good look in FP1.

Is it just me or does the new Ferrari boss look like Harold Lloyd and I don't just mean the glasses.

Like a truly depressed Harold Lloyd. The similarity might be even stronger if Ferrari win.

Ah well, we will never know....

So everyone's updates cancel each other out and the status quo remains.

Bottas looking like having another strong weekend.

It's all About midfield now, and battle of the Mercedes drivers.

I was quite surprised to see them 3/10ths up on Ferrari in FP2. That's the sort of pace Vs Ferrari that Mercedes don't normally show until quali. Which means, they probably have extra in hand tomorrow. If that's the case then it's a true hammer blow to Ferrari.

Odds on another 1-2?

May be a ploy by Mercedes. Force Ferrari to turn their new engine up to either see what their pace really is or to force a reliability issue.

I think it's not a ploy. They're just effortlessly winning another championship.

The long run pace is even more frightening. I think it's 0.5+ seconds
