I bought a 3 pack from Amazon, partly out of curiosity, and partly to grab a piece of what is soon to be a bizarre thing of the past.

I thought it tasted fine, just as good as Red Bull really. But then again even if it we're available in shops, the taste of Rich energy (or Red bull) wouldn't be good enough to get me to spend the extra over the generic 50p cans of non fruity energy drinks you can find in most shops, and unless they made a sugar free version I'd be unlikely to drink it regularly anyway.

He has at least changed the logo.

To the one registered in the name of the company he is no longer a shareholder or director of (unless it was transferred or licensed to him as part of his exit).

It gets ever more bizarre and convoluted.

Anyhoo, I'm 99.9% sure all the assorted "Lightning Volt" twitter accounts are parodies/fakes,
Well, correct on that one so far. The "official" Lightning Volt Ltd twitter (which used to have the coffee shop B logo) tweeted

twitter said:
"Okay, okay, this is a parody account smile

How about:

Retweet if you think this whole situation is a damn farce and William Storey is a complete loony."

He's such a bellend.
Absolutely.

As the original "Rich Energy Ltd" is on its way to insolvency with BDG, he can't just transfer assets out of it to avoid creditors getting their hands on them.

Torro Rosso now gets some Antlers on it's cars.

Another dig perhaps or just clever sponsor acquisition?

How the feck did you find that laugh

Hope he enjoyed his lifetime of free RE. Have to say his story seems even more BS than Storey usually comes out with.

That is absolutely brilliant and might replace "90 million cans" as my favourite part of this story so far

Internet "Wayback machine". Funny what you find going down that rabbit hole sometimes!

I'd been looking for confirmation of the claim by GrandPrix247 that the Whyte lawsuit was already in progress long before the Haas deal, mentioned here.

Since 2008. The RE variant was "created" in May 2015.

Danny Ric has also engaged Ebury Partnership in defending the claim from his former manager... https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/amp/formula1/49070675.

I think it is safe to say that Haas instructed a reputable firm of solicitors in such a niche industry.

I think it’s safe to say Dani Ric does not read the internet. hehe
