Assuming he hasn't paid Whyte a penny, reasonable assumption I think.

Then it would be hilarious if they instructed Bailiffs who just wheeled the OMG bikes off the grid. They'd make a store front display, wherever Whyte HQ is.
Do the OMG bikes carry the offending logo?

Doesn't look like it:

(refuse to post the official twitter link(s), as it just encourages Storey when he sees his st being re-posted!)

If you're interested, the bull is spread thickly at :https://www.richomg.com/

Still available on Amazon with the original logo.

Tastes crap, but an interesting F1 memorabilia item.
Yes I saw that earlier. I wouldn't say it is still available as it has recently appeared. Wonder if Whyte Bikes are aware?

One clip has Gene Haas stating that they'd only received an initial payment from Rich Energy and nothing else. So far (up to Ep2) that's all that's really been said.

So what's the current Storey story then?

Well, it seems the drink brand-owning / holding / cover business is being wound up:

https://www.linkedin.com/company/rich-energy

Or someone has hacked the LinkedIn account, but this is still underway:

https://www.thegazette.co.uk/notice/3406114

The Twitter account is now sub titled Rich Energy HQ, which makes me think there's some distance being put to their 'retail' (haha!) side. The main website is now under a different domain name www.richenergy.life with a completely different look and a contact address in Stratford Upon Avon?

Then there's the whole OMG Racing saga where it looks like their Twitter feed is being run by beardy too, judging by the content. Everything that appears to be on sale online is with the old branding, not sure who that works since the Whyte injunction?

Seems a bit cloak and dagger, but whiffs of pending legal action, a company wind-up and a possible a last hoorah for Billy Liar with his final bit of money from the 'UK Billionaires' going on a bike team. Will 2020 be his year of reckoning? Anyone else got any updates or observations?

Stay tuned folks!

Weird stuff going on. The new website is a different company (RICH OMG Ltd) with all new ownership. https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/1107478...

They're trying hard with a a marketing campaign attempting to spin some of the previous failings..

Aren't Rich and OMG one and the same now? Alan Lowe is a director of the new company that you have provided a link to Companies House. Isn't Lowe part of OMG Racing?

Not that there will be any racing this year. The TT has been cancelled. The Government/local councils are pretty unlikely to allow road racing, and it's not very likely that BSB will be going ahead, the way things are going.

Not exactly the right year to be launching any new product, unless it's a Corona vaccine!

It appears so. It's meant to be a sponsorship deal, but I now don't know who is sponsoring who... The www.richenergy.life website where you can actually buy the stuff has all the Rich OMG (previously OMG Racing) contact details, etc.

Beardy's not a directory of this lot, but has apparently just registered a twitter handle of @richenergyceo

It can't be just a simple sponsorship deal if the directors of the drink and the racing team are the same. There must be a bigger link. It won't really matter if there is no racing and I doubt that (re)launching an energy drink is a good idea at the moment, and probably not on many people's panic buy list!

Very strange, they are marketing it to Romanians living in the UK.

Oh yeah - facebook marketplace - the place to promote a "premium energy drink produced to offer the utmost quality and flavour. It is manufactured with pure mineral water and superior ingredients".

fb marketplace, shortly to be followed by Poundland.

Looks to me that Rich Energy OMG Racing has done a deal to.

A. Be a (the) distrubutor of the product which leaves beardy to be a front man and not actually have to try and sell the stuff on a day to day basis. no doubt OMG Racing got a few tins thrown in for free as sponsorship.

or B. Beardy's sponsorship is in liquid fizz only so they are selling the stuff to get the needed cash.

Looks more to me like a UK based Romanian doing self promotion of a deal to be the distributor of the fizz in Romania

The sponsor that "dropped" Haas because they were too slow and behind the Williams in a race? Yep, it would make perfect sense to go to the team that is last in the championship...
