I recently listened to the latest 'Back of the Grid - 2020 Grid Predictions' podcast.
Very enjoyable listen, plenty of good calls mixed in with fun.

What caught my attention was their guest, Hazel Southwell.
She's currently a Formula E reporter, dabbled in plenty of motorsport and has very good knowledge of F1 beginning from the early 90's - she comes across incredibly well and knows her onions.

Plenty of women in F1/motorsport across many different roles - anybody else care to tip their hat towards a few names?

Not in F1 at the moment but Lousie Goodman a hugely knowledgeable journalist. I've seen her speak at a private do. Yery funny as well but a properly informed person.

Annie Bradshaw has to be in the mix - PR for just about every major name and team in the sport at some point or other.

She's great fun, a tough cookie too and one of many women I've enjoyed working with in F1 and in motorsport

Lots of teams seem to have quite a few women in the pits now.

Also - I was thinking just the other day, back to Monisha Kaltenborn's time at Sauber. She always seemed to give a good interview - until that messy year when they had too many drivers signed up and not enough seats. I think that was her last season.

There used to be plenty, they stood in front of each driver on the grid holding up a sign with their number on it.

Haven’t Mercedes got a woman in a fairly senior position? She was on the podium a couple of years ago to collect the constructors trophy.

There's plenty. Most in engineer and designer roles at the factories so don't get seen on the telly.

I have just been talking to a friend who got talking to Angela at an airport. She is probably one of the few people to really understand what makes Lewis tick.

She describes him as the most awesome human being anyone could meet. High praise indeed.

Am I missing a whoosh..

The woman spouts more corporate bullst than anyone else in the paddock. Makes absolutely zero progress for many a season and yet still retains her job. I wonder why ?

If you want corporate bullst then listen (as well as to CW) to whoever Ferrari send up to do any interviews ...

And if you're worried about nepotism then have a chat with Paul Stewart or assorted others that have got roles because of who Dad was ...

There are plenty enough women doing\have done top roles in Motorsport (including F1) that picking on CW feels somewhat pointless.

Stephanie Travers for Petronas at Merc to add to the list from above ...
