Cracking circuit to drive, but has rarely made good tv for the premier formula after the first couple of years where it was a bit crashy.

Lewis win for me, feel good factor for him going into the off season after a few races off the top step.

I’ll be in the Williams garage all weekend making sure they don’t have a performance advantage, hehehe

can Bernie not push through a 500point for the win rule change like he did a few seasons ago - ah no, he's not in charge anymore - shame....

Two power straights, has to be a Ferrari win.
That may depend upon the interaction between the two drivers.

"We discussed together and I think that they understand what happened was not acceptable," Binotto said.

"We know how to move forward."

Are we to infer that he doesn't completely trust them with the steering part?

The moving forward wasn't the problem ... it was the sideways bit that caused the issue.

I'm just hoping to see the top three teams keep their drivers on the circuit to the finish and for it to be close between them all,

It's been a great season and that will give us all more to look forward to next year.

Botas getting a new engine so can give it the full Beans from the back.

Should be fun.

A Mercedes at the back with a brand new engine and no next race to worry about. Top 6 isn't an issue, podium?

Mercedes should allow that engine to be run at full whack for the majority of the weekend, will be interesting to see the performance of a fresh package with all of their in-season tweaks in combination.

Unless he gets involved in an incident or some bad luck, he has no excuse not to be on the podium. But can Max split the Mercs, or even win? Either should be possible I think.

It will be fun seeing Bottas have to pass both Ferrari's, assuming they haven't taken each other out again before he catches them up.

So is this anything to do with the Monaco podium "incident"?

Cant be easy. Just rewatched 2014 Abu Dhabi. He came 3rd for Williams and I was reminded how pleasant he has always come across. "To whom it may concern" not withstanding.

Wow the comments there make this place look like MENSA.

Thoughts on FP1? Bottas quickest was expected, as much as a Ferrari messing up.
