It should be getting a digital release soon, so I thought i'd give you little edit of Track 26 to hear.

It's LOUD.

Is it not derivative of the 1966 album, The Sound of Formula E, by Simon and Garfunkel? wink

Was that ever sold with a copy of F1 Racing magazine?

No, I primarily sold it via an advert in Autosport, but also standing outside the gates of the British GP with a bag full and a stereo (I subsequently *almost* got arrested as for some stupid reason, they thought they were rip offs and had to return showing documentation that I did in fact own the license for it)

Other CD's came along, but this was the first released in the UK at the time.

edit: Oh also, now that I recall, there was a chain of F1 stores launched who were based in Buckingham, I did a fair few through them as well. They didn't last too long though. Also the F1 shop in Chiswick and a few other places.

I had that album but every time I played it, I had to change the CD player halfway through.

We still have that one, it makes my car passengers really confused when the iPods on shuffle, and a screaming V10 suddenly arrives on the speakers....

I for some reason got rid of mine a couple of years ago during a clear out. Regret it now.

That was certainly the case with the vinyl and cassette versions.

Do you have picture of the cover? I'm sure I had this years ago - some mates and I took great pleasure in playing it full volume in the hold of a North Sea ferry on the way to a European Ford event in the 90s.

There were a couple of French ones too I seem to remember.

This is the sleeve of the one provided by F1 racing magazine, as it was called in 2003
