Ferrari do get through em! I kind of get the impression they just aren't looking at themselves deeply enough, they seem blinkered to an actual issue. Many have alluded to "the Italian way", just look at how well they did in the Schumacher era.

As someone from the outside looking in (obviously), it seems to me that there needs to be some kind of deep routed, independant review and investigation into the whole way the team is run and operates, clearly what they've been doing for the past (almost) couple of decades, given all the resources and money they have at their disposal, something just isn't working.

Senior manager was a French former WRC dominant team manager, senior designer South African working in British based team, senior engineer and team manager on track British. Dont let the Italians near the top jobs, it always goes tits up.I kind of get the impression they just aren't looking at themselves deeply enough, they seem blinkered to an actual issue. I would be cautious - the evidence looks a bit thin at the moment.
We'll see what comes out of Italy today, it could simply be an expansion of the rumour Laurent Mekies will take over general trackside duties while Binotto stays at the factory more.He said something along the lines "it's so big" when recounting his first impressions of Maranello. This would appear to refer to the well remarked upon nature of the sprawling complex that houses both sporting and road divisions. He's come from McLaren and even then is finding it big. Red Bull, Torro Rosso and Renault will have been much smaller, being pure F1 units.
With this in mind, it is very easy to see how Ferrari politics are a big issue. Too many chiefs and too many divisions are on top of each other. Only with a pretty ruthless dictator on top and crucially on site, can all the rival factions be firmly kept in their boxes.
Elkann has the power, but is removed. They need another Todt.
