Official 2020 Hungarian Grand Prix Thread ** SPOILERS**
Discussion
The races come think and fast now, so here's our next thread.
However, will there even be a Hungarian GP? At the time of writing, F1 seems unhappy that any lockdown transgressors will likely be thrown in the clink, but I’m sure it will all get ironed out.
Hungary is always hot, always twisty and has made for some good races in the past, although Hamilton’s 2019 win wasn’t a classic. Here’s hoping Red Bull can get closer to the pace in 2020.

Last year, Hamilton's eighth win of the season puts a headlock on the championship after a tense race-long battle between the drivers and their strategists at the Mercedes and Red Bull teams.
Hamilton came very close to pulling off a brave move for the lead around the outside of the 150mph Turn Four, but a gamble by Mercedes to make an extra pit stop gave Hamilton much faster tyres for the closing stages and he closed a 20-second deficit in less than 20 laps to pass Verstappen for the lead with three laps to go.
It put Hamilton 62 points ahead in the championship with nine races to go - and a maximum of 234 points available. His sixth title was already as good as won.

With top speed less of a thing here, does it bring Ferrari forward a little?
They obviously have less speed covered, all season.. but they've tried to compensate for that by making the car better in the corners via aero - it didn't work, it's a mess.I'm sure different circuits and race happenings will drag them up/down the results each weekend - but they're essentially a middle of the midfield team now. And unless I've misunderstood the regs.. they're pretty much stuck with what they have as a car until the end of next season.
If you want a glimmer of hope, they will be allowed to update their PU for next season. And they do already have that updated PU ready to go, they just can't use it this season.

According to the mirror, Lewis has a "prison threat" if he breaks the rules!
Is max mosely back in charge?!
Not just Lewis, anyone who breaks the rules apparently. Is max mosely back in charge?!
Lewis has said he'll be living in his motorhome inside the circuit, so he'll be fine.

They’d struggle to go further back than this weekend, unless they just left the cars in the transporter...MKnight702 said:

Can't believe I clicked that nonsense. Is max mosely back in charge?!
A rough calculation has me thinking that actually, around 3/4 of the entire F1 circus are likely to be under the same 'threat', so why they've singled out Hamilton without really explaining that I have no idea. For bonus points it then goes on to discuss drivers who left Austria between the GPs...and Hamilton wasn't one of them!
