Now is it just me thinking that the Ferrari seeming to have strong pace in the corners will mean they have a good chance in Monaco of getting up the grid? Am I dreaming?
They could do very well, probably better than Red Bull and McLaren.

Not so sure about the Mercs, they turn well too now!

Yes but I am concerned about LEC binning his car in the barrier at Monaco as he is a little unsettled.

LeClerchke is great over one lap and will often overdrive to achieve a great qualifying position. Sometimes it ends in the wall, sometimes (most of the time?) it puts him ahead on the grid.

Lewis is more circumspect I think. With circumspection keeping him in the running in qually, but often behind Charhles.

For once my post aged well.

When Lewis can apply pressure, Charles has a tendency to make mistakes.

Geriatric Lewis is still pretty quick...smile

Seriously, it has been great to watch Lewis this weekend. Kind of reminded me of him 4 wheel drifting in the McLaren back in 2007.

I rate CLC as one of the very fastest of the lot, perhaps the quickest of all over one lap. But I'd wager he's been a bit taken aback, lately, by what a 41-year-old can still do.

It seems so doesn't it?

Different gears in corners shows Lewis is finding his (best) way too.

Tomorrow should be fun -I'm not counting him out
