I am sure the people critiquing drivers choice of partners are in happy relationships with Victoria secret models not sat alone tapping away in their bedsits with a crusty sock for company.

yes

Sad to even mention these things really. Apparently it’s to do with being ‘aspirational’ ..... with a sock rofl

I don't remember such fervent support for any of Hamilton's partners. I wonder why that might be?

Let's be real here. I'm sure Jenson Button's fiancee/wife/partner is lovely, but she's basically snared a rich bloke by taking her clothes off for a living.

Imagine how 'disappointed' certain groups would be if Lewis had become engaged to a girl like that. He'd have been called "shallow", a "celeb" etc. laugh

It just backs up the point that Hamilton is held to completely different standards to the other drivers. Only an utter cretin would, by this point, doubt his driving abilities, so they go after anything else that they have decided upsets them.

Or, Jenson is punching above his weight and has snagged a beautiful girl by driving in circles for a living.
Still a far cry from what certain F1 drivers used to be able to achieve in the bedroom department after a day spent driving in circles! James Hunt waking up in a hotel room with various female fans in his bed - leaves them there and checks in to a different hotel to get some actual sleep smile

They're all fairly mild these days. Either that or the likes of Lewis are just the same but NDA's are presented to the queue of willing one nighters ahead of the event and the NDA's are proving seriously watertight. Although part of me finds it totally realistic he actually has rid his life of love/lust interests for the sake of F1 focus. Wouldn't be the first elite performer to have done that.

Or maybe Angela is just very discreet..

You’ve actually had to go and type in, search for and link to a picture of Lewis Hamilton in his gruds, making you look odd / weird / strange / sad / or perhaps all of the above...

In any case, your web profile now includes interest in half naked men posing in underwear: I’m sure Google / your favoured search provider will have taken note.

hehe

97 pole positions for Lewis, extends the record on a day when his team mate had led every session and looked set to grab the pole. Great call to take the medium tyres and do three laps on them.

I love how Groot, changes his profile name to try and hide his identity when posting on Hamilton threads.

Unfortunately for him you can look back and see his username was Hames Junt....

What an absolute masterclass of a weekend...

Lewis saved his tyres and effort for the moments when they mattered most, and absolutely blew away his nearest rivals.

A staggering level of dominance that we haven't seen since Schumacher in a red car.

You have to feel a bit for Bottas.

Despite his criticisms, he's no slouch but this weekend just gone sums up his Mercedes career. Fastest P1, P2, Q1, Q2 but then loses pole and is a very distant second.

The last time I've seen the kind of ability we're seeing from Hamilton was Valentino Rossi at his peak. He appeared to toy with the other riders - crashing in practice, appearing low on pace, even dropping down the order in the race. He would then just nail it and wherever he was in the order, you knew he'd probably win.

Yes, it was tough on Bottas. He drove really well all weekend and ended up well behind his team-mate. Hamilton this year though has shown new maturity. No longer does it phase him to be overtaken and drop places on lap one. He just bode his time yesterday, saved his tyres and then drove away from Max and Valteri after they had driven too hard early on and blistered theirs.

Another thing; People always slag off Hamilton when he shows his disappointment after a race and is a bit moody, yet he always says "congratulations" to whoever has beaten him. I thought it was a bit off that Bottas couldn't swallow his disappointment after the race yesterday and offer a "well done" to Hamilton for his 92nd win. In fact I can't remember him giving a "well done" for a long time now.

I really do. I don't know what he talks to his wife about when he goes home to her after another weekend finishing second.

Maybe he's really happy with that. If he's not, it's a testament to the sports psychologists around him that he picks himself up and goes again every race weekend.
