Things I didn't expect to see today: Sir Lewis doing a bit of Tokyo Drift in an R34 (and laughing his head off doing it).
How utterly brilliant

Is there a full clip of this you're seeing? The Twitter clip is some st music and blurry images with not much going on at all.

Well there is a load of sped up film and a car setting itself on fire.
Not sure how it's utterly brilliant though

A current F1 world champion enjoying ragging a car that has nothing to do with his employer on public roads?

Where did he rag it? The clip shows him do a donut in what appears to be a car park / closed off area.

Maybe you're seeing an extended clip i'm not seeing but 'utterly brilliant' didn't spring to mind.

Here is a mind blowing statistic I saw the other day, how far back do you have to go before you get to a season without a Lewis Hamilton or Micheal Schmacher being listed as a winner?

He rented it. They don't condone donuts with the rental. HTH

No, it's the rental company saying they don't condone the driving of their vehicles like that. I doubt we'll ever know if the offending parts were truly on open public road, but the rental company didn't like it either way

The [it was not taken with permission] is the video of his doings, not the car.

Auto translation sucks, no idea why it chopped out the kanji for photography/video (today I learned that PH forum does not support anything but latin characters)

Literally can't win.

yesrolleyes

I wouldn't exactly recommend it to anyone but What The Deuces just posted in another thread an article from that well-known F1 authority bleacherreport.com which lists instances where Hamilton has been 'a menace'. One of the 'offences' is similar to the latest with the R34. The article is padded out significantly with a number of routine F1 racing infringements and minor mistakes, and it features a perplexing and utterly tenuous link of Hamilton to Tiger Woods which is presumably intended to be humorous and sticks out like a sore thumb.

I don't want to discuss it in that thread as the thread has rolled onto a new page and I'm hoping the post doesn't see a lot of eyes hehe

I suspect Lewis didn’t rent it, someone in Japan did and invited him out for some fun.

The fastest car on the road is a rental. Drive 'em like you stole them. Mega lolz.

He has a big problem/issues with Hamilton though he won’t admit it. It’s intriguing when him and the like can’t post anything without insinuating something about Lewis/Toto/Merc or having a pop.
