Croft has to go

He really has lost it, getting high and mighty about drivers swearing whilst out there risking life and limb, seemingly forgetting that FOM are the ones who choose what to broadcast.
Once again coming across like a sanctimonious prick, shame Di Resta and Davidson don't have the stones to tell him to go forth and multiply.

Jesus just shut up!!, Final qualifying lap, he was just a constant stream of noise, Added nothing over the image on the screen, Just kept shouting and shouting
This was the point when my gf finally cracked and said “stop shouting!” at the TV.The only actual useful info out of this was Martin squeezing in “he’s flying” somehow.

Glad I wasn't the only one to notice that, verbal diarrhoea in the end, pointless dialogue over an interesting part of the weekend, would have been a lot better if he just sat back and watched at that point as a real enthusiast would.Stan the Bat said:

For me, all the great commentators (there have ever been) they know when to say precisely NOTHING ..
This is the answer, we can all see what is happening. They just need to only add a bit more, not keep talking all the time. They need to understand they are background 'music'. They can really add to the overall effect, but they can also destroy it (thinking the lord of the rings massively over used motif phrase for example)
Croft seems to think high volume and rate are vital to every slight incident or event.
But I also acknowlege, its probably quite hard to achieve the right balance.
