Not a popular opinion, and I really hate that I find myself agreeing with Croft, but he made a good point.
If he was bothered about it, he wouldn't have entered the F1 padock and embraced Red Bull team members. He clearly doesn't care and has the skin of a rhino.
Why Croft chose to lecture people on what they should think is the mystery, the bloke must have a massive ego to do that.

Think the whole Sky team was well below par in Aus. Didn’t really have much of a clue on regs. They missed Bernie she is good
To be fair, the race director and the stewards of the meeting seemed to have no clue on the regs either. Bernie Collins was indeed brilliant last time out.

Yet you continue to watch it, continue and he stays, as SKY think he is marvelous, shouty is good, fat is even better.
No I don’t. Partly because of Sky’s failure to call out Abu Dhabi for what it was and partly because of Crofty.I even watched the YouTube highlights of Bahrain on mute to avoid having to listen to the clown.
Sky’s commentary has been missing from F1’s YouTube channel for two races now, that combined with Sky now doing their own highlights, hopefully I won’t have to listen to him ever again.

I get mini PTSD from the clips on drive to survive.I even watched the YouTube highlights of Bahrain on mute to avoid having to listen to the clown.

Together we can get through it..
Just spent the day watching British GT racing from Oulten Park. Some really exciting racing and excellent commentators. 2 things I noticed 1) the commentators were very knowledgable and were able to add good information regarding the racing and 2) despite some really exciting action, they were able to communicate their enthusiasm without SHOUTING!!!
Perhaps Crofty could watch and learn whilst stuffing in the pork pies in front of the TV!

I listened to a cricket match on a long drive once (suicidal I know), and they were waxing lyrical about how a lady overlooking the arena, court, zone (sp?) had baked them a cake because they looked particularly miserable in their little commentary area and she'd messaged in and someone had collected it from the gate ... and that's another slow boundary four there picked up by Marshal ...
And they were waxing lyrical about it. You could hear them slicing it, and then discussing it. Along with a thorough thanks and comment on the 'bake'. Absolutely hilar ... <ripple of applause from the crowd> hilarious.
Such a lethargic pace and zero commentary on what was occuring before the odd ... <munch, munch> good housekeeping out on the wide by Sinner ...
Test Match Special. Wonderful stuff. And they were waxing lyrical about it. You could hear them slicing it, and then discussing it. Along with a thorough thanks and comment on the 'bake'. Absolutely hilar ... <ripple of applause from the crowd> hilarious.

Wrong sorry there are Brit GT races that are much longer I am afraid, they are sprint races, usually because there are two every meeting, not every meeting is the same. Oulton was a sprint meeting.
