It's also scary how Alex Brundle sounds so much like Martin. If he starts coming out with stuff like "hug the apex like your favourite granny", it would be impossible to tell the difference laugh
They sound completely different to me. laugh
Really? They sound very similar to me.
They sound uncannily alike to me.

Me too, I was paying close attention to this watching the F3 yesterday, and I think they also sound completely different. I don’t think I’d even go so far as to say they sound a bit alike. I guess everyone hears things differently.

Totally. I hadn’t heard him before and had the f3 on in the background. I thought Martin Brundle sounds a bit younger and more enthusiastic before realising it was his son.

I think they sound incredibly alike.
I saw an interview of Martin by Murray Walker after his crash at Monaco in 1984 and he sounds exactly like his son back then.

I do like Rachel Brookes as the P1 commentator. Very much the “Test Match Special” atmosphere, as opposed to the more frantic qualifying and race sessions.

How does Croft keep his job, which Sky TV executive has he got the Polaroid’s on, when Bottas completely screws it up in the pit lane, Croft says , “supreme car control” the bloke is a complete gibbering idiot.

Yeah, surprised he didn't go with the old faithful "that's not what he or the team would have wanted... very very much indeed..." (!)

Such supreme car control, that he got a grid penalty for dangerous driving.

It's the well known "qualifying cloud" effect. It is a real thing.

It must be standing Director’s instructions. Ted goes relatively apest here too. They are only leaving the pits ffs.

Nice to see Brundle making a nuisance of himself on the grid again though.

Wonder how many times Di Resta says ' listen' at the start of a sentence through a race weekend...
