just catching up with the action on youtube,

I'm loving the shot down the pit straight where the cars appear to just pop up from nowhere

Blinder by Lewis. Bottas must be thinking to himself, “what the actual fk”

Here’s hoping it’s dry tomorrow. I shall be on Bancada Sul, the south bench watching as the cars round the bend for the pit straight, looking forward to this immensely!

Like I said in an earlier post; Bottas blows his load being the Free Practise champion.

Today was no different.

Lewis is maturing and getting better.

I've just seen Q3 again on Ch4. It's just as good the second time around.

Really exciting. The cars are impressive. The drivers, more so. Got to feel for Bottas. It's almost as if LH worked out what would be worst for Bottas: being second in all the FPs and all the Qs, or what actually happened, and deciding on the second.

MV is in the mix, on softs though. He needs to get ahead of at least VB at the first corner and then harry LH for the first lap. Th McLs need to stay out of trouble for the points, but DR might have other ideas. Perez might well confuse matters - if he's not penalised for impeding. I hope CLC does well tomorrow.

The midfield should be good fun, especially at the front of it. Mayby some debris on the track at some point, where intent overcomes ability.

I want LH to get his record, but I hope he either doesn't manage it tomorrow or, at the very least, he has to fight for it.

Might be a cracker. Certainly, the circuit might add to the excitement. That first corner, with DRS stirring things up, might have been the place to stand if you're taking photos.

Ferrari should part ways with Vettel now. Out the car I like Vettel, seems like a good guy in interviews, but in the car at the moment he’s an embarrassment.

Get Hulkenberg in for the remaining races, at least he’ll try.

Yep and they've literally nothing to lose, Hulkenberg can't do any worse!

Controversial but sadly not wrong.

Vettel's head's just not in it any more, better to get someone who needs a drive next season and is looking to impress.

Lewis is performing on a different plane currently.

It's not even that he waits till Q3 - it's the last sector of the last lap!

Massive termination fees, if they have the right to terminate.

I get the impression Vettel's completely burnt out and has been badly mismanaged. He could probably do with the break to get some perspective.

I'm sure Ferrari can afford it!

Or I guess they just carry on as is and write off this year with Vettel.

Compared to the extra prize money for getting a couple of places higher in the championship?

The current Ferrari team is taking an FIA sanctioned "you will fail this year" beating for their use of loopholes/cheats/whatever it was last year.

Better to be the beaten team with humility for 2020 and slightly rebound in 2021. Vettel can be part of the blame.

Politics.

Also I don't think Ferrari are that ruthless these days; reputation management may not work well if you fire a 4x WDC in the midst of a chaotic year.

Well that was certainly a cracking quali.

I am hoping (no offence Bottas) that Russel is alongside Lewis from 2022.... Then he can have a year or so to learn from Lewis and then, well, Lewis will have at least 8 WDCs and can call it a day...

I wonder what odds bookies give on young Schumacher being in an F1 car next year....

Is Perez going to HAAS do we think? He can bring cash can't he? And is a good peddler too.

And what are the odds of there being a Thai driver on the grid next season?

Oh god, how sad. cry

Official communication from the FIA, he'll be replaced by Bruno Correia (who he?) as steward for the rest of the meeting.
