Watching F1 on TV

Does anyone have the Sky streaming service - the one with the thing you shove in the back of the TV?
My question is can you catch up with all the GPs or do these fall of the schedule, if they are ever on it. All I want to do is watch them when I sit down for my dinner on a Sunday evening.
The problem with SKY streaming (for me at least) It takes several hours after the live race before it's available to watch as a catch up service. I have no idea how long each race is available. From my perspective. I work weekends often finishing at 6 pm. I usually manage to avoid the results for a few hours before I watch the race on SKY Q.
Even though I have F1 as a legacy service at no extra cost. SKY is becoming far too expensive to justify just for f1.

I know you can record with Sky but you have to remember to do so (archaic really) and it's not even reliable if the race starts late etc, because they don't always correctly update the recording schedule to match reality!
Also F1TV is far cheaper + Croft is optional + the entire back catalogue of F1 sessions going back decades + some decent documentaries. Sky can stick it!

If I point my VPN to a Indian Server it shows F1 TV Premium at $39.99 for the whole year with 7 days free!
But when I go to pay for it, it doesn't allow Apple Pay or Card payment as both payment billing addresses are in the UK.
Any way of getting around this?
Try a Direct Debit cardBut when I go to pay for it, it doesn't allow Apple Pay or Card payment as both payment billing addresses are in the UK.

Wasn't a technical issue, but a contractual one, which they were able to resolve.
It doesn't fix the delays getting the on demand version available on Q though

It's 2025 and Sky feels very outdated now.

Use your phone and the F1TV app and pay with Apple Pay, that's what I did earlier this week to get it setup for the first time. I did try with Apple Pay on my Mac via the website but no bueno. Apple pay in Apps is a subscription where Apple are the payment vendor and pass the payment onto the App Developer minus their cut so there is no billing address issues when you pay with an app.But when I go to pay for it, it doesn't allow Apple Pay or Card payment as both payment billing addresses are in the UK.

I assume the issue is that Sky themselves chose to sub license the catch up rights to C4 which means C4 get to do the catch up show ahead of sky making it available for streaming.
Perhaps that is what has been improved now with a contract tweak.
Let's just say I'm not a Sky fan in general but have been very happy with F1TV.

I am thinking about buying an Apple TV box and casting to that.
No need for all the casting faff, just download the F1 TV and VPN apps on your ATV.I was really excited about the Premium tier as 1080p SDR doesn't really cut it on an OLED but the list of supported devices (or lack thereof) is shocking. Hopefully they're just rolling it out as a test and will increase compatibility soon.

If you enter a UK card it starts with 4 or 5, f1tv recognises this and says payment from the wrong location. Paying from the phone currently avoids this.

So long as you have a VPN on when you actually use the service, you're all good.

Anyone else having an issue trying to upgrade from Pro to Premium? When I go to the page, it doesn't seem to load a price but does have the upgrade button. Clicking it just brings up a spinning wheel of nothing.
Yea I get that too. I'm not that bothered about the upgrade, was just interested in the price if I wished to upgrade as I'm mid term with pro at the moment.TheDeuce said:
