Anyone got 2021 Monaco GP Tickets?
Discussion
Hi Guys,
Just looking for a little advice not sure if anyone is in a similar position as us.
During the earlier months of 2020 we realised Silverstone was going to be postponed / cancelled which we already had tickets for, As these were paid for and rolled over to 2021 we decided to take up a neighbours offer to utilise his French home in La Rochelle, more specifically have a road trip, stay in Nice for the F1 then drive up to La Rochelle for a few nights before returning home.
Now the current position I am in - Paid for full weekend tickets through the organiser (formula1monaco.com) Booked and paid for accommodation in Nice via Expedia.
Monaco organisers have confirmed that if the event is to go ahead we will no option of a refund if we wither decide not to attend or the UK will not allow us to travel.
As such we have decided that we don't feel comfortable driving and staying at multiple locations given the situation so have begun looking at flights directly to Nice from the Wednesday to the following Monday.
Is anyone else in a similar position? I'm not sure where we stand with private Covid testing prior to departure (Which I have seen online is over £100 each) or where in France we can obtain a Covid test in time to have a negative test result prior to flying back to the UK.
Its all a bit of a minefield, will any of these requirements change if international travel is allowed again after May 17th?
For background, we are in our 30's and cant see us having the vaccination prior to travel.

I'm in the same boat with the Historic meeting at the end of April. I've cancelled the flights and Hotel booking as I really don't think we'll be able to attend. IF we can it's easy to book flights/hotel online quickly. I can see the Historic meeting being cancelled in April but the Formula E and GP going ahead in May. The faff of tests etc isn't something I really want to entertain and there's always the risk of testing positive on the way back. I also wonder how the organisers are going to arrange the social distancing in the stands if they're fully booked.

There is a rumour that they are going to be running at half capacity crowds so hopefully they reach out and offer refunds for those who want them.
Tests required before travel are over £100 each as you have to go private for them, and with additional charges even flying easy jet its looking at about £300 for the two of us.
Thankfully the apartment I booked in Nice is refundable so that's money I wont lose.
I suppose all I can do at present is wait and see for further info to be released.

Suggest you contact ACM or the reseller to see if your ticket falls within the permitted attendees or you qualify for a refund. Looks like event going ahead with limited public attendance.
