Very wet F3 race underway in Hungary, behind the SC which is going sideways!
One of the pointless things I hate (even if I understand the TV-schedule-driven "logic") - trundling around behind the SC, burning race laps for no benefit. Stop it and wait or go for it - wet SC laps are a paying spectator's worst nightmare.
At least they've had the balls to go for it - suspect there would have been too many whiny F1 drivers complaining that it was still "too wet".
Dunno why they don't VSC to see if the cars can sort themselves out before going full SC with these incidents.

Is that Ralph Schumachers son?
Yep. David and Mick are cousins, not nephews!
Charles and Arthur are brothers.
Not an F1 support race - but previous F2 race winner (and Brit) Jack Aitken had a massive off at Spa yesterday - he’s ‘ok’ with a broken collar bone and fractured vertebrae. So similar to the Hubert accident at the same corner which obviously had a tragic outcome.

Those secondary and tertiary impacts when the safety cell has already taken one make my blood run cold.https://youtu.be/FZAH5CAyvps
Obviously it all happens too quick there to get a warning to unsighted following drivers. Perhaps an automated system should be devised?

It’s so ultra quick I don’t know what the following driver could really do with circa 1 seconds notice - they’re already fully committed to the corner. But yes - extremely worrying. STARTING GRIDS
With three races and only one Qualifying session taking place per event, the results of the Friday’s final classification of the Qualifying session will determine the starting grid for the Sunday Feature Race.
The starting grid of Saturday’s Sprint Race 1 will be determined by reversing the top 10 finishers of Friday’s Qualifying session results.
Lastly, the starting grid of Saturday’s Sprint Race 2 will be determined by reversing the top 10 finishers of Sprint Race 1.
POINTS ATTRIBUTION
The driver who takes pole position following the final classification of Friday’s Qualifying session will be awarded with four points, as is already the case.
Sprint Race 1 and Sprint Race 2’s top eight finishers will be awarded points (15, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2, 1) while the Top ten finishers of the Feature Race will score (25, 18, 15, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2, 1).
Two points will be awarded to the driver who sets the fastest lap in each race. Any driver who is not classified in the top ten positions at the end of the race will not be eligible for points awarded for fastest lap.
The maximum of points that a driver can score over a race weekend has been increased from 48 to 65.

Not so many points awarded... but they gain a bonus point for every grid position improvement.
See that F1 are going to introduce this too...should be interesting.
