Listening to practice on the radio someone suggested that Riccairdo could be struggling with the transition from the low revving Renault to the high revving Mercedes engine - trouble is Norris has had to make the same transition.
That is a bit awkward - it's hard to excuse yet I still don't accept DR had somehow inexplicably lost so much pace as a driver, it must be the car on some level. Perhaps the PU is just part of the upset.I hope he gets back on top of it. In a decent car he's about the most exciting driver on the grid when he's on the attack. Some of his late brake overtakes over the years have been stunning.

Yeh!!Lando has only raced Renaults.. & so has the other chap.. LOL..
Hopefully McLaren won’t do what Renault did and suit the car to Dani..
I’d like to see them keep making decent race car.. rather than tailor the car to the emperor's new clothes.

Are we saying Merc track or we still saying RB are coasting......I don’t think they are
We will know for sure about three hours from now, but it does look like the Bulls are struggling here. Difficult to see anything other than two Mercs on the front row at the moment. Sandpit Steve said:
