Well done Dale Lomas!. Sabine was so identified with the Nürburgring that she deserved this. Will be strange and sad to pass it for the first time next visit though.

Dale Lomas did a lot to make this a success.

Sabine was such a part of the Nürburgring. Almost every time I went I ran across her at some stage. She drove one of my cars and I took some shots over a few hours....this is the one that I like best.

You would expect nothing more of Dale, and he would know there was controversy about her relationship with the track and officialdom over the last few years (from their side not hers), I don't know exactly why, but Dale would know the background and what this was REALLY about. It was about her love for the place, the joy she gave thousands, and the fact she helped to put it even more on the map, and she was bloody quick too.
